Minimal Twist on the Hubless
If you can look past the hubless wheels, you’ll appreciate the fine symmetry behind this design- the Twist Bike. The unique gearing system allows each component to be easily removed for storage, repair, or transporting. The design is also capable of linking with other Twists to create a tandem network of bikes.

big imagination and I think that’s valuable.

Great Idea

The gear system looks like it could wear out quickly. Otherwise, looks nice!

Hmm nice concept, But did you calculate the no. of rotation of pedals to cover a particular distance? In existing (with spokes n hub) bikes, pedal rotates the middle rear gear thus it rotates the entire wheel. i.e. one rotation of small rear gear = one rotation of big wheel thus covers a large distance. In this case one rotation of rear gear will only cover distance nearly equal to its circumference on the rear wheel. So imagine how speedily we have to pedal this bicycle to cover a small distance!! Huff Huff Huff… Nice concept & rendering but not practical.. Huff Huff!

Very nicely done, although I would like the handlebars to be a little higher.

And how exactly do you steer it when the handle bars aren’t attached to the front wheel fork?
Fire Starter says
On the second image one can see where the handlebars attach to the front wheel.

Back peddle design?

Yeah agree with you rahul. i think the rear gear better using ordinary (with spokes and hub). But beautiful design anyway.

looks awesome but I’m pretty sure the gear ratios are all wrong =p

Very cool design, like the ideas and look, especially if it actually functions as a reliable bike.
