Alien Inspiration
In 1999, Lithuanian designer Jonas Jurgaitis was captured by aliens, upon his return to earth, he immediately began to sketch out a sofa design that he was told to pass along to us here on earth. Appearing more like dreadlocks cut from the head of The Predator, the sofa, is truly out of this world. Sure to get a second look, “Alien” the sofa, is a great contrast of molded polyurethane on a plywood frame combined with a hi-tech fabric. No matter how this design came about, it truly is unique to say the least.

btw I don’t understand why you bring up “Alien inspiration” and later in the article says it looks like Predator’s dreadlocks, there is really no link between those movies.

Also if the tentacles were “alive” and sort of undulated and writhed around while you sat on it, like some sort of living massage sofa. That could be sweet.

this idea and it is only an idea is rubbish. unless you sit near the centre you will fall through the strands. so this is a egocentric 2 seater sofa.
