Blowfly – Flying Alarm Clock by Ena Macana
Many sleepers experience that after they turn off the alarm clock they go on sleeping. One thing that sometimes wakes you up at night and prevents you from sleeping is the mosquito or blowfly when flying around your room. You can’t and don’t want to fall asleep again until you’ve caught it. These produces adrenalin and requires movements. The alarm clock blowfly works like a “blowfly” that at the desire time it escapes from a cage in your room. It starts moving and producing sound around you – to turn it off you should catch it and put it back in the cage.

You can not get this one but there are many similar items on ebay if you search flying alarm clock. The cheapest I found was $5 Buy It Now Price.

Omg this is the best idea i’ve heard about. Like all others tha have been writing I want one and as fast as possible. Just a bi bothered that I would get use to the sound and sleep through it in the end. So wish it could change sounds so I wont get use to it. But I love the idea and really hope it will be coming out really soon. Don’t really know how to know when it’s out in stores or where I will be able to buy it, hope it will be easy to get. But work work work cause we all need one and are totally old on it.

I want it so it will wake me up. Normal alarm clocks you can press snooze and loose track of time so you are late!

This alarm would be great I would buy it if they sold it at Wal-Mart. All I do with my alarm clock when it goes off in the morning is throw it across the room.

wow, it looks awesome, but to think that it would need 2 counter rotating props and a hell of a battery for just a little flying time, its just sad that if it ever comes into productiono it won’t be a design competition winner…hopefully it will have all of the practicality

Sorry to be a party pooper but I have to point out a design flaw…well more of a safety issue really…If that ball has a malfunction while in air it could easily break something or even worse your face! I'd rather show up to work late than with a black eye
