The SILK is an electronic measuring tape that is not a “tape” per se; it’s a steel wire that winds out to do the deed. An electronic feedback on the screen gives you the measure, plus it does stuff like recording multi-time measurements. Since it’s a steel wire, it can be used as a plumb as well thus making it a very handy tool.
