A Ladder to Love
Quit simply, the Corner Ladder is amazing. One of those products with pure genius behind the design. Using a number of simple yet precise folding techniques, the ladder collapses to just a fraction of its size when unfolded, taking up much less room than most cumbersome ladder designs. I’ll say it again- GENIUS! Hit the jump to see it in action!

I have a similar pair at home but they are unsturdy and not much use, these look like a great improvement

What a wonderful idea, not sure they will take constant use but for occasional home use they are brilliant

They dont look safe to me, not sure I would trust them
Peter says
I dont think they would save much more room than a pair of stepladders really, they would take up less room but my stepladders are in a cupboard anyway so no real advantage

How much are these?

They look clever to me but my other half does the DIY so dont think im qualified to comment really lol

Awesome idea. Ladders always have so much wasted space between the steps when stored. Doesn’t look like this is available to buy anywhere. Too bad. I may have to just build one myself. On the project list!
What’s with the stop-motion video? Someone bust out their iphone and make a better vid. That is all. =)

It will be even more clever if it is molded with plastic, will be a best buy item! Brilliant though!

It doesn’t seem sturdy enough. That split in the middle (where most of the weight is applied) looks unsafe. I disagree with all of the above.

Are these ladders being manufactured? I want one!

Applying weight on the hinge is still safe because the hinge folds in the other direction (up).
Physics 101.

just completed my build of this mine uses a different mechanism in the middle of the rung to try and strengthen it at its point where the most stress is applied. and for anyone that doubts this it works perfectly i am 16 weigh 80kg and it takes my weight with ease.
