Cold Coffee Hot
This is the perfect season to be discussing hot coffee and methods of keeping them just that – HOT!
Re-Warming is a reheating stick that restores tepid drinks to their piping-hot glory. It is sleek and creatively wand-ish with a very Harry Potter vibe to it. Not a new concept but definitely a sleek iteration for the next step in refinements.

Shows the designers total lack of understanding of the product (coffee)and the consumer, for shame.

Like the best ideas – so simple and so effective. That said, I guess you’ve got to ask yourself would you think to throw one in your bag (or pocket if you were a guy) or do you just drink the coffee quicker? It could be adapted for the outdoors market – imagine being up Mt. Everest & using this.

I wish I could find the images, but I saw almost exactly this concept in a university degree show, designed by a guy called Darren Booth in 1999.

Interesting idea. Can’t you just stick coffee in the microwave?
shiverbrains says
Yeah, why would I use a 200 degree metal pole to heat my coffee instead of a microwave?
Regardless, this should be portable, the base shouldn’t be a plastic donut and there is no need for a power button (open = on, closed = off).

In this time of months, many hot drinks consumed in the northern half round. It’s handy to keep your drinks warm without having to get up. But how does it work on batteries? Can it goes in the dishwasher? And such a concept I have already seen.

or just using a double wall vacuum mug/bottle ?
IMHO, I don’t like the taste and smell of reheated coffee…

I think the idea is that coffee shop could buy one of these for each of its tables. That way, customers’ drinks may be kept warmer longer.
Then again, they could just design rechargeable cups.
