From Dust to No-Dust
Chalkeeper is a very innovative way to contain chalk dust (which causes allergic reaction in many children) and reuse it. It is basically a duster that erases chalk from the blackboard and absorbs it into the system. When enough dust is collected, it molds it back to a piece of chalk….kinda like a never ending chalk! Clever!

This is cool, despite the reduced use of chalk against the white board with markers or even face to interactive whiteboards.

I’ve think of this inwention one years ago,the chalk’s ingredient is Ca(OH)2 ,raw material is CaO.It’s hard to realize this product, the fan can no get in the dust, and the mold is not a suit way to squeeze out the chalk.
Jack says
the chalk’s ingredient is CaSO4. O(∩_∩)O~

That sucks, I always loved getting picked to go knock out the chalk erasers in elementary.

Nice design and clever concept. However, in Australia blackboards/chalkboards have gone the way of the Tasmanian Devil. Extinct. The last chalkboard I remember seeing in use was almost 12 years ago.
Ole Gus says
Tasmanian devils are not extinct… You mean the Thylacene?

This would have been sweet if it was made 20 years ago when people used chalk boards

I didn’t know people could be alergic to chalk. There was no one in our School but if this helps, nice product. Although I think it came too late.

Who uses chalk?

Only problem… I don’t know of a single school that uses chalkboards. It’s all Whiteboards and SmartBoards now.

I think it’s an interesting product! I would like to point out that I attend MIT and even we still use chalk boards
I, for one, think they’re very classy.

totally dumb, wouldn’t work anyway but, no one uses chalk, chalk is cheap, you could buy a lifetime supply of chalk for less than the cost of this crap. i have never been so unimpressed.

Hey there, I found your site yankodesign.com while browsing http:

Have you ever contemplated including a little bit more than just text in your posts?
Don’t get me wrong, your writing is excellent. However, I think that if you integrated some other forms of media (such as videos, visuals, pictures) you could make your articles more substantive and alluring. Your page content is superior, however if you were to add more diverse media, this site could definitely be among the best in its niche in comparison to other sites on .
