Burns in the kitchen can be pretty serious. Not only can they cause bodily harm; if one gets burnt, their attention may divert from the cooking, causing even more accidents to happen. The Never Burn Lid is a nifty lid with one hinged flap that collapses down when the lid is lifted. This prevents the hot lid from coming into contact with your arm or wrist. The user can see the hinge running down the lid and as a result, intuitively picks up the lid in a manner that causes it to avoid accidents.
