You’ve seen loads of chairs on Yanko. I’m pretty sure I’ve lost track of how many I’ve posted. Minimalism seems to be a predominant style, however minimalist yet rich in expression isn’t something that comes easily. The 1085 Chair designed by the Italian firm, Bartoli Design is light on design but heavy on the symbolism. Designed using leather as its focus material, the chair aims at highlighting the ageing process of the leather by designing something that will change color and texture with age, only getting better as it grows older. Much like whisky. Which I intend to sip on while seated in this chair.
