Revenge Of The G-Spot Mouse

Its International Women’s Day and its befitting that I confuse you guys with Andy Kurovets’ Maze Of Time. There is a connection between the two… you had fun at the expense of the female anatomy and now it’s time to pay for those silly smirks! The Maze Of Time watch uses colors in a kaleidoscopic way to represent the time. So when you see a chaotic yellow line below, it’s actually the number “1”. Blue is the number “2”, red color stands for “3”, and “4” corresponds to the green etc. Kinda TokyoFlash-esque and time to get your grey cells working!

The second watch in the first image looks more like 12:09. This design really is so good. I’d love to have one!

    • me says:

No 21:09 but still, they tell 21:03, which is definately wrong. So what does it tell us: this watch is confusing. But still it’s a very different design!

  • Just as in most things persistence will pay off. lol

  • jm says:

    its different but not practical

  • nelsons3 says:

Sorry, but this design is neither aesthetically pleasing nor creatively communicative.

  • phi says:

wow this is the most useless and ugliest watch i have ever seen!!!!

  • joe says:

great lookin but itd better be bulletproof, cuz trying to read that in a hurry would be pretty damn infuriating 😀

  • Rachael says:

Interesting concepts never please everyone. It has a code at the top and bottom of the watch. You would figure it out pdq if you looked at it every day (this coming from the girl who doesn’t like analog watches) I want this watch 🙂

    this is unique…nice one there!

  • dorna says:

it seems confusing but actually it is nice an different.
    i love it.

  • brilla says:

cool looking but its function is supposed to be "tell time" not "figure it out yourself" too confusing.

Very ugly. Even when you know what time it's showing, you still can't quite figure it out.

the color choices are stupid and make it even harder to read. I would hate to be caught in a hallway thinking "ok, the yellow one goes this way…then the blue one is a 2…no that's a 5….shit i'm late."

  • August says:

The description doesn't tell how to read the time correctly, it implies numbers are represented by different colours while in reality the colours represent whether a number is the first or second hour or minute digit. I think it's a neat idea but quite ugly.

    • Guest says:

Whichever number is in front is first. Second is second etc. It actually isn't that hard to read. If there is a zero there will be a zero shown like in 08:41. There is a yellow zero informing you that the hours only have one digit.

Short reminder, everyone… "It is aesthetically displeasing" is not an absolute statement. Please say "I don't like the way it looks" or "it is aesthetically displeasing to me." Same thing with using the second-person. /I/ can figure out what it says just fine. I think you meant to say that YOU could not.

    I think it's a nifty idea. I'd wear one.

This sucks…it’s easier reading the sun and stars!

And it is the ugliest watch I’ve ever seen.

    This is bad design.

The best thing about this watch is that if someone steals it, probably he will not know how to use it.

    I can't read it… I'm color blind…

  • ines says:

Well, this is very cute and fun, but I don't want to spend half an hour to figure out what time it is… So this isn't a very functional design, as a matter of fact, it could just be confused for just a cool bracelet.

  • Ericka says:

I never wear a watch to actually see what the time is, I just wear one as an accessory. So for me, this watch would be so awesome to have 😀

A rare “miss” on Yankodesign. Confusing, visually unappealing (for myself at least)…form is not following function on this one. I was about to make a “re-inventing the wheel” comment but I see Hank_Scorpio beat me to it.

I like the design, but i don't have enough time to sit there trying to figure out the time.
