You’ve seen the movie Blade Runner, yes? Aka the greatest science fiction movie ever made? That’s the one. Even if you haven’t seen it, you’ve probably seen the scene where Harrison Ford is doing some police work and keeps saying “enhance. enhance.” Well that’s what’s going on here! He’d love this watch, this watch called the “Scope Watch” and it’s a total time tracker!

Let’s have a glance at a watch that employs the now-famous and awesome E-Ink technology made famous by, if I’m not mistaken, the Amazon Kindle eReader. This watch is a double-down in that it uses E-ink to for both form and function, allowing the bold and radical lines to make the watch beautiful and very readily visible. This watch is made of glossy black metal, embellished with small chrome parts.

Straight out of Poland, Damian Kozlik has designed an interesting if not confusing timepiece dubbed “X-Watch”. His attempt at a universal time piece able to be used by sighted and the blind is a step in the right direction. Not sure if X marks the right spot on this one but his rubber strap housing carries an array of LEDs behind graduated glass with extruded braille numbers that chris-cross to highlight and center the correct time.

Swatch has built a reputation on creating ultra-simple, trend setting watches – offering literally thousands of designs to suit everybody. This Swatch looks at moving the company’s brand into the future by modernizing its range of digital watches. Based on air tube you find in most bicycle pumps, it juxtaposes two existing products in a contemporary fashion to create a very sleek and minimal bracelet watch – aligning itself with a current trend in wristband fashion.

Based on the ancient Chinese I Ching philosophy, the Oracle Watch helps you identify the order of chance events by way 64 digital hexagrams. Press the button 6 times to generate a hexagram correlating to your future beholds. Oh man, this would have been so handy this morning when I couldn’t decide between Coco Puffs or Honey Nut Cheerios. An exclusive, hi-tech concept watch aptly named Shine – combines luxurious gemstones with advanced technology and materials. Inspired by scanning devices for scanning targets in sci-fi movies, the Sonar Watch has three themes – blue for sonar, green for radar, and red for a scanner interface. Appropriately named the Other-Half Watch, it features a secondary face meant to be set to a significant other’s unique timezone. This hidden face is located on the inner part of the wristband, keeping loved ones close even when they’re geographically far away.
