Washing Machine Goes Wall Mount

Washing Machine Goes Wall Mount

As promised, I’m here with the details on the Dismount Washer. It’s a concept that looks at space saving and hygiene at one go. The way it works is like this, you have your own personal tub for your laundry that can be mounted on an “energy stick”. Using high-pressure steam as its source for cleaning, the washers does its job, and gives a fresh batch of washed clothes. A touchscreen display is integrated for easy navigation and menus. Ideal setup for those who prefer using Laundromats or don’t have space for a washing machine at home.

Our First Show and We've Got Prizes!

Our First Show and We’ve Got Prizes!

Surprise! We’re now coming to you in a series of web videos hosted by yours truly and the amazing Troy Turner. What was supposed to be a live show ended up being pre-recorded because of technical difficulties. Good thing too because there were about 101 f*cks-ups along the way. How the hell does Oprah do it?!? I think it turned out pretty well. Be gentle and hit the jump!

Simplified Smartphone

Simplified Smartphone

The Triple Flip is an attempt to make smartphones more useful than they already are. Claiming to be the first of its design  ever to feature Windows Phone 7 OS, the phone has much more to offer than just that. Solar recharging, flip-out & sliding keyboards and other refinements make this a cool concept. What’s left to be seen is its acceptance by the general public. Hit the jump for the video.

Pandora-ish

Pandora-ish

Imagine a waste bin (you heard me). Take that bin and fill it with compostable products like grass cuttings, tea bags, & cardboard (just do it). Now attach your new plant-worthy cell to the facade of an ugly building with thousands of other composting bins (don’t forget the plant).  You’re all finished! Now watch it grow, reduce CO2, collect rainfall for reuse, and transform your least favorite eyesores into a recycled, green, and overall cool looking structure. Now wasn’t that easy?

Chair Inside A Chair

Chair Inside A Chair

I’m not so keen on the Pull & Pushi’s design but the idea that a chair can be pulled out of smaller chair to give you a wider chair and side table is intriguing. It’s a great space saving idea and continues to explore compact furniture with multiple functions and dare I say, personalities?

T-Shirt Reality

T-Shirt Reality

Welcome to your fantasy! Ever since the days of Teletubbies, people across the world have been dreaming of having a television in their stomach. Now that dream can become a reality with AR-Tees, augmented reality shirts! Each shirt features a television set with a special combination of symbols printed inside. When connected to the special viewer via their computer and a webcam, they too can enjoy the ability to watch movies and documentary films on their belly. Hooray!

Table of Expandability Deluxe

Table of Expandability Deluxe

It is so deluxe man, so deluxe that it expands to great proportions. Such greatness it has, in fact, that 18 pieces become one in the folding. This table is made not only to transform awesomely, it’s made to save space and be the centerpiece of the room. Fourteen of the 18 pieces are on top. The last four are the legs. At the moment it’s white, in the future, maybe a bunch of colors will be on there. Like 18 different colors, I’m thinking. Something for the ever-expanding hipster market, yes?

Touchy Radio, Go Ahead and Stroke It

Touchy Radio, Go Ahead and Stroke It

White Fruit Radio follows how biological organisms organize their internal and external components, both of which are intimately related. Electronics today are often designed linearly with one following the other. White Fruit is made of sycamore for its acoustic properties and an LED substrate is hidden beneath the thin surface. But wait a minute, no knobs or buttons?

E-note, Don't Call it a Digital Post-it

E-note, Don’t Call it a Digital Post-it

From the minds at Sequoia Studio, E-note is a conceptual project that explores the future of Post-its (insert legal copyright here). E-note uses tactile and flexible electronic paper technology, powered by a solar captor. E-note can be stuck, and unstuck easily using special “Gecko” glue, inspired by biomimicry. It even has a visual alarm/organizing function, changing from 1 of 8 colors. I need this on my desk NOW!

Hot Jet-Ski Action with No Environmental Reaction

Hot Jet-Ski Action with No Environmental Reaction

I can ski above the water with an electrically charged motor? Sign me up! The Foiljet MR1 provides a speedy water motorcycle experience while supposedly causing minimal wake in the water and relatively no noise when in operation. Mermaids better keep their heads down for this one.

We Like Big Red Record Buttons, Flip Mino Review

We Like Big Red Record Buttons, Flip Mino Review

I got my hands on Pure Digital’s latest camcorder, the Flip Mino and came away impressed. It’s a mini version of its bigger brother the Flip Ultra but thankfully quality has not been compromised. In fact quality is up in terms of build and video. At 640×480 pixels per inch, it’s not meant to compete with bigger and more expensive camcorders. This is for those candid moments when spontaneity is required. It’s small, pocketable, and easy to use.
