Beautiful Vinyl Figures, noop and nism

Beautiful Vinyl Figures, noop and nism

Executing another exhibition style piece in vinyl, Coarse brings their latest figure series, “Casting Shadows” to light. It includes an original sculpture of Coarse character, noop, huddled and his new shellbound pet, nism. noop clings to a fabric kite reminiscent of a long time friend, paw!, which soars above casting his shadow onto the two characters. We’re not much for vinyl figures here but this is really beautiful. We just had to share it with you guys. Hit the jump for the full story.

Flying The Umbrella Kite!

Flying The Umbrella Kite!

This one here, the Dreamfly is for the sheer joy of a carefree childhood. It’s not an earth-shattering idea, and its existence will not make any difference in your efficiency. But it will bring you a few moments of laughter, and maybe some bonding time with loved ones. The concept is of an umbrella that flies (like a kite)…Mary Poppins beware! It’s got jazzy LED lights that glimmer at night and basically implores you to drag yourself outdoors to catch some wind and fun!

Kite Cars

Kite Cars

For the hyper-imaginative future fliers. This “Wind Light Vehicle” allows three methods of locomotion, two of which involve that giant wing on the hood there. There’s an electric motor in each of the three tires, for one. Then the wing can swing upright for the vehicle to become like a windsurfing board, or it can become detached for some amazing kite wind action!
