Hang On The Rim

Hang On The Rim

All it takes is a hook-shaped carving in a paint brush to quantify it as an ingenious idea. Something that I’m willing to endorse! I may not be a house-painter but I can foresee the situation of someone getting this itch to scratch his nose (or butt). If he were using the Hanging Brush, then naturally he would just hang it by the rim of the paint can and scratch …. Superb!

The New Clarity

The New Clarity

The Mac. He is back. He’s clear again. He is so clear this time, you’ll just want to get out the windex just to see if the glass is actually there. Two concepts. One is a phone, the other is a desktop computer. Made with the real intention of creating something straight out of a sci fi for the greater good of your eyeballs and future humanity.

Put That Baby in the Trunk!

Put That Baby in the Trunk!

OK all you moms… OK all you dads…! Listen up! It’s time you knew about putting your baby in the trunk! The “Trunk Stroller,” that is. Made by design geniousness in Seoul, this stroller folds down to the space you’ve got left over! And when you need to put the baby in it, it comes back up in a jiffy! Now I’ve got a stroller to stroll my baby in, and when I need it back down, it fits in the trunk of my car with plenty of space left for holiday presents!

Cabinets Aplenty

Cabinets Aplenty

Who’s up for some cabinet design? I am. Let’s do this. We’ve got some flatness, some whiteness, some mirroring, some rounding, and some televisions and speaker equipment placed in there. What do you know! Four objects, one post, one design group: the Art S=4pieR2 sphere, the Mystere Hyde, the Why Not, and of course, the Soul of Pop.

Affair With Notefolio

Affair With Notefolio

Most of my friends get all awestruck and goofy when they lay their hands on the latest netbooks. For me it’s always been an affair with notebooks and paper; a case of old habits dying hard, because I grew up using portfolios and paper books. Stationery essentials like the Notefolio are just my types. It’s a gamut of things: a handy recycled chipboard cover with a note book inside, a folder with an envelope for business cards; plus a strong rubber band that holds it all together. Apt for an Executive Assistant like me!

Biker Bags

Biker Bags

Carrying a purse or bag while riding a bicycle has been restrictive thus far. What I mean is that either you end up carrying a backpack or have those geeky baskets in front of the handlebars. Revolutionizing the way we carry our stuff is this absolutely fashionable set, simply called the Handlebar Bag & Bike Rack Bag. What I love is the way it hooks onto the bike, and then simply comes off as an elegant bag; loops, extra straps, and attachment clips detach and can be hidden.

This Pen Has A Lamp

This Pen Has A Lamp

Let the record first show that this pen has a lamp on it. Potentially. The most important thing about this pen might not be the lamp (yeah right!) but I’m gonna go ahead and say that I know it is. This pen is crazy. First of all (wait are we still on first?) I gotta tell you that the name of this pen is “Pendragon” and it’s a construct-your-own pen. It’s name is Pendragon. What else you do you need to know!? Pendragon.

Bike Thief, Don’t Even think About It Mister

Bike Thief, Don’t Even think About It Mister

Bike Thieves move on to your next victim, because this bicycle has BROKEN WHEELS! This exact feature is what keeps the bike safe. I love this ingenious idea that kind of breaks down the inner rim of the wheel, so that it becomes an unstable cycle with wonky-wheels that no one can ride. Anti-Theft Collapsible Bike Wheel; that’s what you call this baby.

Map Hole Points The Way

Map Hole Points The Way

Map Hole is a new road guidance tool designed to direct pedestrians and travelers to their final destination using existing elements in the urban landscape. It locates the pedestrian with a starting point and provides information on the exact distance or average walk time to the listed landmarks. It sounds intriguing but I feel like I need a cartography degree to understand it. If this were real, you might just enter a city full of confused people looking down at the ground.

Grilly Willy

Grilly Willy

Yes! This is a grill by one of the longest-winded design team names in the business, or at least that I’ve ever seen: Liebschaften Möbelgestaltung. They’ve made this lovely little grill and have titled it “Longgrill.” It’s the missing link between grill and fire bowl! One simple slider’s all it took, all it takes, all it will take when you’re out camping like a real trooper!

Going On A Carbon Diet

Going On A Carbon Diet

Eco2 Widget is a mobile and desktop app to get your carbon eating habits under control. Sure you don’t gain weight from carbon but you do harm the Earth and we all agree – the Earth is in dire need of a carbon diet. Like all diets, it requires a lifestyle change. The Eco2 widget not only monitors carbon affluents between all your devices but also educations and recommends little things you could do to help Earth get slimmer cleaner. There’s even a reward system built-in for digital money and to plant trees.
