GenevaSound Medium Review

GenevaSound Medium Review

Audiophiles are a picky bunch. They know what they like and if a sound system isn’t up to snuff – they pass on it without any chance for reprieve. We’ve only reviewed one other $600+ stereo and that was the B&W Zeppelin. There’s a new challenger, one with more awards and accolades than I can count. The GenevaSound Medium is an audio feast for anyone who wants to hear music the way it was meant to be heard. The design is ultra modern in an approachable sense. Hit the jump for my review.

Magnificent Men And Their Flying Ferrari

Magnificent Men And Their Flying Ferrari

While designer Iman Maghsoudi gave us a Ferrari that was akin to operating a PC touching speeds of 200 km/h; designer Vincent Montreuil has a different vision for the speedster. Adding a third dimension to the pulsating sport, he envisions race tracks in the air, demarcated with levitating lines (or ropes; u get the drift); and a Flying Ferrari X-Racer in the forefront. Call him crazy or over-ambitious, but it’s not hard to imagine his concept taking shape…say 50 years from now!

Ferrari Joins London

Ferrari Joins London

Perhaps you’ve been? London is a home to many, many fine shops, quite a few of them dedicated to one single brand. Lots of them are the kind of brand that has a couple shops and that’s it! Ferrari. What do you think of when you think of this brand? Exclusivity? The patented red + yellow? Crazy conceptual works? Better wear sunglasses in here.

Smooth Sophisticated Smoking

Smooth Sophisticated Smoking

When I think of pipe smoking, I imagine an older generation of men sitting around reading newspapers or conversing about times gone by. Yet with this new and sleek pipe design by Hakan Bogazpinar, I can see a much more hip, younger crowd partaking in its’ pleasures. Eolos is our modern day pipe. With a smooth, almost aerodynamic design, it looks the Ferrari for pipe smokers.

A Futuristic Ferrari. Speed is a Given but Automated

A Futuristic Ferrari. Speed is a Given but Automated

Designer Iman Maghsoudi believes driving cars in the future will be akin to operating a PC while traveling 200 km/h. Humans lacks the concentration and dexterity required to handle such a task but the inevitably of hyper-computerized vehicles is a truth we can’t avoid. Monza is built for speed but smart enough to drive itself.

Ferrari we give up, you do it...

Ferrari “we give up, you do it…”

Seems Italian car maker Ferrari has had just about enough of their whinny customers wanting custom this and custom that on their mid-life crisis. More than enough customers have waltzed into their Maranello headquarters with their own design ideas of the perfect Ferrari to convince executives at Ferrari to launch a “One Off” program.

Danish Do-It-Yourself

For those of you not aware, kit cars are cars that you purchase and assemble yourself, and are usually based on discontinued cars of the past. Unlike the original cars they are inspired by, kit cars take the frame and mechanics from whatever current automobiles have close-enough specifications. So you may find a Ferrari kit car riding on Corvette frame and engine. Got it?

Cambiano, Italy – Pininfarina has long been the design house of choice for such car brands as Maserati, Cadillac, Peugeot, Jaguar, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, MG, Lancia and more often than not Ferrari. Their auto designs are icons of the auto industry and have made many of us drool with envy over such legendary works of art like the Ferrari Enzo, Alfa Romeo Spyder, Maserati Quottroporte and Ferrari Testarossa, just to name a few.
