One Screen, One Nintendo

Welcome to the future of handheld gaming. I mean it. This is one of those futures in gaming that I’m really betting on. This project is sleek, it’s nice, it becomes flat, it’s basically everything I imagine the gaming industry hitting on in a few years. This project is a concept for a future class of Nintendo hand-held gaming, really similar to the current Nintendo DS in many respects. This one’s got a fully interactive 3-D interface. Basically the same amazing stuff you see in the newest Iron Man movie, all jammed in a cute little Nintendo.

Nintendo 3DS With Huge Screens!

Olivier Demangel is basically a 3D artist and his take on Nintendo is really awesome. What’s missing in the real-world version is screen real estate and this concept takes care of that. Over the years many designers have had their take on this game console, but thus far I like this the best. So what do you think…do we need a Nintendo DS redesign or are you happy with what you got? Nintendo Probably Wants This

AFGT is a gaming device that uses tactility to enhance the video gaming experience. It’s made up of touch-sensitive silicon – subtly mimics the terrain in a virtual world allowing the user to feel through the environment. It works with individual silicon air pockets laid out underneath, each connected to an air pressure actuator that changes the air pressure in each packet. AFGT was created to connect the gamer to the game on a sensory level, with actions such as navigation achieved through manipulating the positions of the silicon pockets.

Nintendo Wii 2010 Style

When it comes to the future of gaming, opposable thumbs are so passé. At least that is what the dreamers at T3 Magazine think when they started to commission future designs for their “future tech” feature. They are showcasing a Wii headset accessory that uses brainwaves to control characters and also features immersive in-ear headphones. They envision a streamlined Wii Remote with just the one button. Just point and press, and let your frontal lobes do the rest.

Motion Sensitive Remote Control

When the Nintendo Wii came along, the world changed. The world of video games, the world of remote controls, that particular world. We got up, we went outside, and we started to play sports and do exercise for entertainment again! Oh wait that didn’t happen at all! We might go there again someday but for now, our world’s got things like Ryan Sorrell’s “Remotion” – Nintendo not affiliated.

The Value Of A Promise

Growing up my parents would often make promises they had no intention of keeping. Usually these empty verbal contracts were just a ploy to get me to do something or more likely – to stop me from doing something. Whenever I tried to collect on those promises, they would suddenly acquire an acute case of selective amnesia. I wish I have the Credit Seal.

Wii Robot?

Now that everybody and they momma are doing motion controls, what’s Nintendo to do next? Ask designer Florence Boob (yes for serious) and you’ll get the Wii-Robot. OMG Wii-bot! Working under the assumption that everybody and they momma loves robots (true), the Wii-Robot is the little R2-D2 companion you’ve always wanted. It flies and follows you around, inviting you to play games it projects onto any flat surface. The controller is a sphere laced with motion controls. Loves!

Flo Backpack Looks Like Star Wars Bounty Hunter

The Flo backpack is a modular, ergonomic, and performance strength bag perfect for city trips to all day hikes. The rigid thermofoam bags come in three flavors; the urban day pack, the weekender, and the 5-day trekker – that quickly snap into the universal Flo frame. Made of lightweight molded plastic, the frame features large air channels to maintain breathability and a flexible core for unrestricted mobility.

Eggy-Blob for Television President

What in the heck is this thing? Is it an egg? Is it a blob? Nay! It’s eggyblob -I mean, actually, the “Infinity Remote Control.” Designed by Damien Crossan, this remote was designed to fit a model of a possible remote 7 to 10 years from now. This remote utilized “4G” technology, lithium polymer batteries, and flexible touchscreens. And for its next trick, separation anxiety!
