Tanker That’s All Rolly

On the lines of the pet Rolly by Sony is the Mint Tank Music Player. It’s the sorts that follows you around, obeys your commands and doesn’t complain if you ignore it. Features include USB connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi, 2 High Output Speakers, Remote Control and endless track system to follow you around. When two tanks are within the same vicinity, they kind of communicate with each other and playback music with 3-D sound effects. Quite an awesome pet!

Digital Photo Frame Packed With Features!

I love my digital photo frame but this concept called Mint Frame takes the cake. Like other digital frames it displays your photos but also takes pictures with a built-in 2 MP autofocus camera. The adoption of digital frames has been slow and why? – partly because older people find it cumbersome. By turning the frame into a camera, you get instant gratification without the need of a computer or syncing with an online gallery service.

Talking Dumbbell, No I’m Not Crazy

My trainer would go ape nuts for this concept. The Mint Dumbbell speaks. Workout programs can be personalized as a trainer walks you thru every rep. It even has sensors to smack warn you when you’re not in form. Working out with a set of dumbbells? These guys wirelessly communicate to keep you going. When all is said and done, the charging station charges/syncs and tattles sends all that data to your trainer. I imagine mine would just laugh uncontrollable at my feeble attempts.

You Only Live Once

You Only Live Once

YD isn’t the ideal place to discuss suicide, but that’s the only inspiration that one gets from the Mint Light #5 You Only Live Once Lamp. The hangman’s noose works in a creepy way as well; tighten the noose to turn it off and loosen it to brighten the lights. Almost poetic in a way….life is a precious gift, if you let your worries depress you, its like the tight noose of this lamp–DARK. Enjoy what you have and it brightens up your life!

More Than Words

Is your phone a camera or the camera your digital player as well? Confused? You ought to be! As newer generations in gadgets and devices come out, the clear demarcation of their lineage gets blurry for the sake of multi-functionality. In the name of salvaging individual identity, mintselect @ mintpass has designed a range of devices in the typographical form of their function. Called the “Used as Read” series, the stackable lineup includes a speaker, a remote control, a woofer, a music player and amp, a radio and a lamp.

How Many Pushups Does Your Battery Do?

Me? I can do 20 reps at the most, but my Energizer does plenty more…or so says the guys at Mint Design. Although I haven’t seen the ad, apparently once there was this one, which showed a battery come out and do about a million pushups; to show how long it worked. That left an impression enough on the designers to come up with this Pushup Mint Battery #2. Now it’s designed for no apparent reason, but purely for the fun of pitching one battery against the other, to see who emerges the winner!

It Plays Only My One Song

On one hand we have MP3 devices by the score, boasting of infinite giga amount of memory and on the other hand we have The Single. A brave little soul that plays only ONE (uno) song! This feature may send you gadget-crazy generation into a tizzy, but I quite respect the designer’s decision to stick to one song format. Even the functioning is pretty simple, one giant play button that starts and pauses the song. Load the music via the USB and hang it up on the wall.
