The wires are abuzz with the Zune HD News, and many are wondering what Jobs has in store for the iPod this summer. However, the thread that ties both these MP3 players together is their form. Where’s The HotSpot?

Where’s The HotSpot?

An imperative question when you are looking for some free internet access! I have a device for you here, that will turn you into the Water Witch, HotSpot Witch! Divina detects WiFi spots and allows you to expand the network by amplifying the signal thanks to the built-in hi-range sensors. The form of Divina is clearly inspired by the magical stick that Dowsers use. My only request, don’t go as crazy as them in the middle of the airport when you detect strong WiFi signals!

Finger Power Works The Tape

Finger Power Works The Tape

NVDRS Tape foxes around in the Cassette Tape construction but is actually a digital player. Deceptive looks aside, the player continues to follow the 45/60/90 minutes norm, holding 10/15/20 select songs in digital format; uploaded via USB.

Your Very Own Monolith

Your Very Own Monolith

Monolite is a lamp that combines light, sounds, distractions and evocations.  Say what? It’s an architectonic interactive organ that creates a spatial and emotive “elsewhere”. Porqué??? At random times during the day, it reduces ambient light and an electroluminescent fractal pattern is displayed through cubes on the upper half of the device.
