Although we are heading towards winter, let’s not forget the folks from Down Under who are gearing up for their summers. I think escape from heat and reality should be more than just Kool Aid and popsicles; it should be funky like the Water Wave Air Conditioner. It features ambient lighting with moods like stars and water, matching sound effects and cool breezy air to lower your temperature. Now that’s what soothing summers should be like!

Hyundai Concept Motorcycle Stretches

Inspired by musculature, this concept evokes a fluidic sculpture from the upper and lower sections intertwined together. The whole body is made up of materials that stretch and contract just like your muscles do and enables steering without any kind of assistive apparatus. When turning a corner, the entire body relaxes so that it can smoothly corner, and when accelerating, it contracts to form a rigid body. I’m totally intrigued by the idea. Not so sure about the design though.

Lock Thy Knife and Throw Away the Key

Wait a minute there is no key involved here in the Knife Locker. Apparently the knife itself is the key. It locks into position with a 270-degree counterclockwise turn and kick starts the UV sterilization process. Ready for the next use, bright and shiny! That sleek house will look good on any kitchen counter, what do you think?

Food Freshness

Time Clock is an airtight container with a food-freshness meter attached. The lid features a clock-like dial which lets you know how long the food’s been stored in it. You’ll never let left overs spoil again, unless it was really nasty then by all means, let it spoil and make sure you give that restaurant a low YELP rating. Serve the community people.
