Twist it Table

Twist it Table

Christian Reyes’ Giros table is characterized by a warm, simplistic aesthetic mixed with a subtle, customizable burst of color. The table’s central stem is threaded, making it possible to raise the two nested surfaces simply by rotating them. The user can place belongings on either surface, or collapse the levels altogether depending on needs of the moment. Easy to construct and even easier to operate, the Giros table finds harmony in minimal construction and versatile functionality.

Part Table, Part Planter

Part Table, Part Planter

The Treeangle Table’s artificial stone base extends through its walnut top, stabilizing the surface and creating a unique visual quality that mimics the form of a forest canopy. Accentuating the organic shape, the top section is hollow, making it the perfect place for a small plant. It’s a clean, modern interpretation of the stump base coffee table!

Intelligent Washing

Intelligent Washing

Smart Chime is an intelligent washing machine that RF scans the clothing tags to see if the wash cycle is safe for them. Essentially it makes sure you don’t end up washing delicates with cottons or color bleeding fabrics with the pastels or whites. It’s intelligent enough to intuitively indicate how much more time is left before the cycle is up. Nice concept and with certain refinements I am sure it will take clothes washing to the next level.

Laser Pointer Of A New Kind

Laser Pointer Of A New Kind

The Sliding Pointer is the next-gen in laser points. It breaks away from the traditional pointer design and is fashioned as a ring. It has two different kinda points that it beams: a circular ring and straight line. Both of them can be used to make your presentation more profound. Easy to use, one can now focus more on the talk and slides rather than fumble with a puny gadget in the hand!

Blood Sucking but Life Saving

Blood Sucking but Life Saving

Blood type testing is a vital but often overlooked necessity in emergency medical situations. Unfortunately, anyone requiring a transfusion must wait for type results from the lab before one can be given. What if we could test at the location of the emergency, or even on the way to the hospital? Designed for natural disaster situations, the Emertest offers a solution that saves valuable time easily and conveniently. And what better animal to base the design on than…. the leech. Not as gross as it sounds – check it out!

Shanghai's LightScraper

Shanghai’s LightScraper

Situated in the middle of a lake in south-east Shanghai, the SH Fish building serves as the focal point among 5 other proposed structures. The circular shape of the the floor plans was determined in relationship with the waterfront, giving it a 270° lake view inside. Thanks to its unique location at the tip of the peninsula, the design is reminiscent of a lighthouse. In much the same way, it serves as a beacon for anyone visiting this cultural hub.

The Slim Edge

The Slim Edge

Measuring only 4 mm, The Edge is one of the thinnest titanium watches in the world. You would think that only big bulky watches can look sexy but The Edge Watch forces you to rethink that notion. This fully jeweled analogue quartz movement displays a slim stature of only 1.1 mm. A skeletal design, sapphire glass crystal encasing the purist dial and plain hands, create a subtle impact.

Electronic Mosquito Coil

Electronic Mosquito Coil

The E-Coil uses frequency waves and light without scent or fragrances to repel mosquitoes and keeping them at bay. The traditional coil leaves ash residue and may have an annoying scent. This new e-version releases frequency waves identical to the ones that male mosquitoes release when flying, and this wave apparently irks the female mosquitoes and keeps them away. Tell me about it!

Introducing, the cLamp

This clever lamp design has a subtle vintage vibe thanks to its unique base composed of two clamps styled after classic clips of the past. Together, they hold and support the shade. To adjust the height and direction of the light, simply unclamp the shade and adjust!

A New Generation of Saddles

A New Generation of Saddles

Since 1866, the Brooks company has been known for its craftsmanship, durability, and quirky British insistence on doing things differently. When it came time to design the first new bike saddle in decades, they sought out IDEO to pay respect to this heritage. The result is a saddle with the same durability as traditional leather saddles, but with modern comfort and weather protection. Called Cambium, it’s a more dependable option for devoted traditionalists!

The e-Bike we've all been waiting for...

The e-Bike we’ve all been waiting for…

Named after the 13th element that composes its unibody frame, the electric Bike 13 is both a feat of functional engineering and aesthetic integrity. Its hybrid engine is packed tightly within a robust yet lightweight, compact frame. Also built into the frame is a self-locking mechanism that freezes the rear wheel when parked to deter theft. It’s pure e-bike… nothing more and nothing less than what you need. Let’s crowdfund this thing cause I want one for Christmas!

Personalized Plate Cooking

Personalized Plate Cooking

The Plate Cooker is intended for busy working folks who can’t spend much time on cooking. It reflects a unique Korean culinary culture: preference for soup and rice as a breakfast, and cooking and freezing the food over weekends. This food is then heated and consumed over the upcoming week.
