Save Water Simply

Save Water Simply

We commonly overlook the fact that the water we use to clean dishes, flush the toilet, or water plants is the same quality of what we drink! It’s not only unnecessary, but wasteful when we use new fresh water rather than reuse it for multiple purposes. The DuO sink system aims to solve this problem in the kitchen with a simple dual-reservoir design that separates reusable water from sewage. The saved water can then be used to water plants or assist in the dish-washing cycle.

Very Intuitive Camera

Very Intuitive Camera

CMY(si-mee) is a very intuitive camera with simple functions. Pulling it out of its protective case means turning it on; pushing it back in – yes, turning it off! If you need to zoom, then simply twist the crank on the side. Rotating it outward means zooming out, while inward means zooming in. The only button on this camera is the shutter, just push it down to take a picture or swivel to a desired duration, like a kitchen timer, to take a self-timed photo. Remind us of the Polaroid days, the camera comes with a self-printer.

The Whole Picture

The Whole Picture

How about a camera that splits into two and allows you to take a picture of your subject and yourself! The DUO is just this concept and I think it’s pretty clever. It features a separable camera with synchronized triggers so that you get to take the perfect picture. Essentially the photographer is the subject too!

Zen-Inducing Stool

Zen-Inducing Stool

The Opus stool finds inspiration in traditional Chinese medicine where the balance between mind and body is key in keeping physically and mentally agile. The ball-based structure encourages the user to take control of their balance by placing them in a new position between traditional seat and upright standing. In this posture the center mass of the individual is located under the spine, positioning them in a stance where mind/body harmony will keep them comfortable.
