I am sure everyone at one point has felt the urge to crawl into a box and hide from the world. I know I can’t live without that sense of confined privacy I get when I am tucked away in my car while in traffic, hidden behind my tinted windows. Sure, I know people can still kinda see me as I pick my nose or pound on the air drums, but I don’t care. It’s my very own little fortress from the world.

The “Airboard” pump action laptop surface by designer Ki-Seung Lee is intended to adjust your laps productive area to best fit whatever activity you are engaged in.

What better way to arouse creativity and inspiration than clean, white spaces filled with glowing ambient light? Some might argue that the lack of visual stimuli might create the opposite affect, but I beg to differ, and so do the Amsterdam based architects UXUS. They decided to use their own offices to showcase their latest creation that is self described as a “mysterious and poetic atmosphere of old and new world fables,”

Michiel van der Kley, has been producing designs since 1987. His latest design, Globus shows van der Kley’s creativity and imagination. Globus is a multi-functional mobile office with a twist, or sphere more like it. Closed, Globus will attract the most curious of spectators, and open, it reveals its’ real, creative function. Half of Globus is a comfortable swivel, seat, while the other half is a usable, adjustable table which can be used for a laptop or whatever the need may be.

You may not put much thought into it but it takes a symphony of small muscles in your hand to operate a pen/pencil. For some people this is beyond their ability so designer Oskar Daniel set out to create a pen the Easy Writer.

One of the questions I get asked a lot is how does my office look like. So today I quickly took some pictures of my office! As you can see and maybe you will notice from the contents I chose to publish on my site that I tend to like the minimalist design or the scandinavian design.

This fun creation is by Clement Eloy, and it is called SamePaperPlayAgain. Designed to encourage recycling, all the while adding a bit of excitement to the office. Available in blue, green and orange, this trash bin will add vibrancy to any office space. So go on and get your teams together for a little football or basketball competition.

We all have it, what people call the “personal space” or “zone” - the area around us that if impeded on makes us uncomfortable. The Eclipse Office Partitioning System was developed to address the issue of privacy and lack there-of in open plan designs seen in workplaces today.

The ScooterDesk is a wheeled standing-aid with an included writing tablet. It serves as a mobile touch-down station for occasional short tasks such as filling out forms, checking data and browsing the net. It can also be made to order as a dual version; with seating for 2 persons.

A curved ruler? Why would anyone need one? It’s not curved horizontally, it’s curved vertically so you have to press down on it to get a smooth edge. Sure, it may sound a bit unrealistic But it’s this kind of eccentric idea that makes the Arch Ruler more convenient and enjoyable than your old fashioned, traditional ruler.
