Echoing Waters

We’ve all seen high shutter speed photos of water, how they look frozen in time. That moment can be found in the most forgettable places, namely vases.

Using fluid simulation software, it was possible to capture the shape of water flowing into a vessel. Each 1/10 of second spent filling the vase with water captures a unique shape inside while still echoing the form of the original vessel.

You can find animations of fluid dynamics like this on the web.

Check out blender, and other such software on youtube.
