Petrarch’s Bath is based on the concept of an Eastern style ’sit bath’. Smaller in size than the Western bathtub, it is an intimate space holding less water, in which to relax and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of bathing with salts, minerals and oils. The design was conceived to service two distinct purposes: 1. Adult relaxation. & 2. Child’s bather. Petrarch’s Bath responds to contemporary bathing practices in the home, where adults are likely to seek the restorative and remedial advantages of bathing and where parents attend to young children.
