Concrete Purity

Concrete Purity

We usually imagine exposed concrete as being dull, grey and stark…beautiful qualities in their own right. But Crisp concrete tiles break the stereotype with a visual effect not usually associated with the material. Their glassy, reflective character is made possible with micro-refractions in waveform induced by small triangles that compose the surface. The result is a modern, delicate-looking finish with the same structural integrity as classic concrete.

Symbiotic Facade

Symbiotic Facade

The team at in square lab noticed that the Historical Pushinsky Cinema is in need of a major facelift- one that will not only reinvigorate the architecture but also one that will revitalize its presence as a focal point of central Moscow. Their corian & glass recladding proposal is seen as a solid cellular structure that grows, at first scarcely from the square onto the steps & then gradually covering parts of the facade, constantly revealing glimpses of the building’s history.

Minimal and Modular Moulding

Minimal and Modular Moulding

This modern ceiling rose and moulding design by Geoffrey Lhoest is a twist on the classics that plays with the concepts of interconnection and modularity. When combined, the ceiling rose and modular moulding gives new life to walls and ceilings by bridging all 3 dimensions of the space.  A minimalist design that gives a sense of fluidity and movement that will accent both classic and contemporary spaces.

This is Not a Shadow by Rozenn Couturier

One Tile - Many Patterns by Drid

One Tile – Many Patterns by Drid

One tile many patterns: Play! Putting a number of Play tiles together they connect to build a total composition. The beauty of this concept: Differing from conventional pattern tiles, this composition can be freely modified by rotating several tiles 90, 180 or 270. A single tile allows you to design an incredible amount of various patterns. Those can be used to define different sections, e.g. gangways and lounge areas in public spaces.
