All-Terrain Electric Beast

All-Terrain Electric Beast

The menacing-looking Misha all-terrain vehicle was designed specifically as a family car for use in the harsh Siberian climate. The slightly asymmetric body exists so the driver has a little more room to operate comfortably and so passengers can have a unique riding experience from seat-to-seat. Powered by four independent electric motors located in each wheel, Misha also features tires inspired by bear claws that have been adapted to grip the most treacherous of terrain.

Super-Yacht With a Surprise

Super-Yacht With a Surprise

Eduard Gray’s high-performance 38m yacht concept is so sexy it will leave you drooling for more. Impeccable exterior styling is characterized by dramatic curves met with sharp edges that come together in symmetrical perfection. As if the yacht weren’t enough, it even comes with it’s own matching super sports car that fits snugly within the stern garage (yes, I said garage). You’ve got to see this bad boy, so hit the jump!

Well-Thought Yacht

Well-Thought Yacht

Students at L’école de design Nantes Atlantiques did a great job designing this sleek 47 foot yacht for sailing boat leader Benneteau’s European competition. The boat features a glass top that allows light to enter the main cabin as well as the underlying rooms. A combination of clever storage solutions and overall super-efficient utilization of common space make the interior the real highlight of this design.

Real Life Mario Kart!!

Real Life Mario Kart!!

We’ve all dreamt about shooting blue shells at the car in front of us and dropping banana peels to screw up traffic during rush hour! I know I have. For now we’ll have to keep dreaming, but at least we can take some of our road-rage out on this bad@$$ hybrid one-seater recreational vehicle that’s reminiscent of one very familiar race-kart.

0 Gravity

0 Gravity

Only a handful of space tourists have actually made it to the outskirts of our planet, but with companies like Virgin Galactic already taking down payments on seats, it’s only a matter of time before the cosmos become a sought-after vacation destination (for those who can afford it, of course). This project aims to offer riders a quick trip where they can briefly experience zero-gravity and get a peek of our planet.

Well Balanced Yacht

Well Balanced Yacht

This 60 meter megayacht by Van Geest Design is characterized by near-perfect balance and creative contrast. The two-toned hull color blocks silver and charcoal to create a distinctive look with graphic lines and three dimensional shapes that direct the eyes toward the stern. Impeccable symmetry can be found from aft to bow and even in the staggered decks and lounge areas.

Hip To Be Square

Hip To Be Square

THE BOX “quadracycle,” as designers James Brooks and Richard Bone refer to it, is aimed at providing an inexpensive, easy to maintain, ride-sharing solution in metropolitan areas. Stripped of everything except the basic interior necessities, BOX is similar in size to a Smart Car and weighs only 750 pounds, but it can pack up to 4 people with all that extra room. It can even accommodate wheel-chair users who currently account for a large proportion of society that cannot utilize ride sharing.

Modern Tram with Ancient Influence

Modern Tram with Ancient Influence

This electric passenger tram was designed to link the Libyan cities of Benghazi and Tripoli, two areas currently plagued with traffic congestion. The tram is characterized by a simple, modern aesthetic but also takes inspiration from Libya’s cultural heritage, incorporating shapes and patterns like the moucharabieh, a common element of traditional Arabic architecture since the middle ages.

Classy Compact Sport Yacht

Classy Compact Sport Yacht

This goal of the MY50M mega-yacht was to develop a new trend in marine craft that might revolutionize the future design of other yachts to be both elegant and eye-catching. Straight lines, automotive shapes and a wave piercing stem design are the most striking features of the exterior as they add a sense of sportiness and power to the overall aesthetic.

Inconspicuous Megayacht

Inconspicuous Megayacht

The Dune 90 strays from the common “wedding cake” stacking style of the current yacht market and instead boasts monolithic approach inspired by stealth frigates and rippling sand dunes. The result is a crisp, lean, and classy look that still maintains the modern luxuries  you’d expect from a yacht of this size; including 10 guest cabins, swimming pool, berths for a submarine or wave-runners, and like any good megayacht- a helipad.
