Private Fighter

Private Fighter

The Dassault Falcon S applies supersonic fighter aircraft philosophies to the executive jet, combining long range transatlantic capability and speed to the comfort of a wide body, high altitude aircraft. Marked by impeccable, angular symmetries, the overall aesthetic is at once futuristic, refined and discreet. I’ll take mine in chrome, please.

Mo’ Bikes, Less Problems

The latest in a trend of “aesthetic flexibility,” the Winora Urban E-Bike taps into a wider range of consumers by using customizable body covers and skins that are easily changed. The adaptability is made possible by a super-simple structure that maintains a variety of sitting positions for users of different sizes. The more E-Bikes on the road… the cleaner, quieter and more friendly cities will be!

Wild Concept to Reality

Wild Concept to Reality

The stunning Cannondale CERV bike is a radical chainless, forkless design that features a dynamically adjustable headset that moves both fore/aft & up/down, putting the rider in an optimal position based on terrain. The headset translates forward & down for a clean, low-drag position when descending. When climbing, it moves up & back, creating an upright position for maximum leverage on the crank. It’s all made possible by an ingenious single-sided swing arm in place of a traditional fork.

A Folding E-Bike at Last!

A Folding E-Bike at Last!

There are plenty of folding bikes out there, but what sets the Neo Volt apart from the rest is not one but TWO different ways to fold- not to mention, the fact that it’s ELECTRIC! The ingenious, patented frame can fold into a sliver of its original size for easy transition from public transportation to the road, or it can twist into an even smaller, ultra-compact figure that’s easily stow-able in the trunk of a car. No need to worry about wires, the battery and drivetrain are 100% integrated into the frame!

Forever Moving Trains

Forever Moving Trains

Inspired by the infrastructure of the internet, Moving Platforms is a completely interconnected rail system where local trams connect to a network of non-stop high speed trains enabling passengers to travel from their local stop to a local address at their destination (even another country) without getting off a train. Sounds far out right?! Hit the jump and watch the interview with the designer to see how it works!

Bike Power!

Bike Power!

Two words: automatic shifting. But that’s just one of the things that makes the Hercules Topgear-S bicycle the perfect urban commuter of the future. No more fiddling with manual gear shifting, just touch and go. A contactless dynamo is integrated into the front wheel system to recharge the battery which powers the quick-shifter, headlights, a horn and even turn signals that are cleverly placed at the ends of the handle bars. Better yet, there is a USB port to charge your cell phone while you ride!

Cutting-Edge Chariot

Cutting-Edge Chariot

As the race for developing ultra-efficient vehicles continues, it’s easy to lose sight of the importance of making advances in more old-fashion mobility. The H2X horse-drawn hitch design applies modern materials to a straightforward, contemporary form that together give a glimpse into the future of leisure riding.

H2 Scoot!

H2 Scoot!

Until the electric car is perfected, here’s a design that might be a bit more practical for city-goers. Powered by modern hydrogen fuel cell technology, the H2Scoot provides a clean and easy way of getting around urban spaces. Only slightly bigger than a Razor scooter, the compact design features rear steering for increased maneuverability, a lightweight monocoque carbon fiber body and customizable telescopic steering.

A New Meaning to Seahorse

A New Meaning to Seahorse

I love the idea of exotic car brands crossing over into the uncharted territory of watercraft design, and this is one beautiful example. Inspired by the 458 Italia, the Ferrari Elegante speedboat has all the style, creative flair, passion, cutting-edge technology, and race-derived DNA that enthusiasts love about the brand with the prancing pony.

Flying Bike... 'Nuff Said!

Flying Bike… ‘Nuff Said!

I know what you’re thinking – NO WAY! But hypothetically, this idea is pretty cool. The Flying Bike concept uses a complex combination of advanced lightweight structural elements and high-precision propulsion and stabilization technology to give lift to the rider for brief periods of time; 5 minutes or so to be exact. You might not be able to weave in and out of traffic, but you might be able to fly over it!

Classy Beast

Classy Beast

The Dartline 60′ combines superior performance and a refined aesthetic into one dreamy powerboat that’s sure to intrigue. Aggressive shapes, lines and curves are contrasted by a clean, elegant style with impeccable attention to detail. While the perfectly polished wood and white hull/trim complete its sophisticated look, I’d love to see a meaner version in black. I’ll take one of each!

Roll Up Your Bike

Roll Up Your Bike

Unlike existing folding bicycle designs that fold into a triangular shape, the Donut bike folds into a super-compact circle that leaves no component exposed. From the handlebars to the pedals, everything is safely tucked away and making it incredibly easy to tote around and store.
