Morning Raga

Morning Raga

I can’t make up my mind about the Light Bulb Radio, I think it borders between cheesy and sleek and am unwilling to write it off so soon. What I like most is its clever designing and the way the radio + nightlight combo has been given a new vibe. The light bulb influence and simple user interface makes it even more appealing. What do you think?

Fashion Headphones with a Powerful Punch

Fashion Headphones with a Powerful Punch

Though it was designed with style in mind, the Bluetooth-ready Wolf headphone isn’t just a fashion-forward accessory, it’s also a wearable state-of-the-art sound system.   Built-in selenium plates optimize the quality of sound regardless of the quality of the input while internal copper wiring ensures sound waves travel even faster & smoother. Most appealing though, is the semi-translucent acrylic exterior illuminated by embedded LED lights. In a variety of prints & colors, this one is sure to be a hit with the cool kids.

Cute Miki Ears

Cute Miki Ears

Ear MIKI is a very cute ring that helps you manage your phone and earbuds in one go. Simply pull out the earplugs from one end and hook up to the phone/music device from the line. When not in use, slip the ring around your finger, like a cool accessory. The earbuds retract into the hub and give the Mickey effect. Sweet!

Sexy Sound Box

Sexy Sound Box

The Sound Box is more than just a docking station for your iPad (or iPod); it is a radio and alarm clock with integrated hard drive to store your music. I love the super simple and sexy vase-styled wireless speakers. They blend into the room so perfectly. Touchscreen controls and intuitive interface are a given, what’s hot is the minimalist style that is so in-line with Apple products.

Color Me Music

Color Me Music

“Colorme” is a hypothetical brand created by Ivan Jaddou, which is inspired by the sensory phenomenon of synesthesia and the ambiguity of international color symbolism. The project explores in unconventional methods of prolonging the experience of music, reaching beyond the realms of sound and into colors, emotions, and activities.

Music in a Bottle

Music in a Bottle

The Genie concept distills the idea of an MP3 player back to it’s simplest function. No docking or syncing required. Instead, Genie plays music relevant to your mood. Feeling giddy? How about some pop music? Perhaps you’ve had a long day at the office and need to unwind. Genie might play a little Bach. The design itself is meant to look like a sculpture. The conical shape helps radiates sound and eliminates the need for traditional speaker grills.

Hardcore Headphones

Hardcore Headphones

The Helix-IR concept is designed by Jean HONG & Dassault Systèmes DesignStudio team. It’s a wireless headphone that looks like mechanical wizardry with all the moving parts. The central part is made from sheet aluminum, laser cut and stamped. This configuration provides a lightweight, flexible structure complimented with high end finishing. It surrounds the head like an exo-skeleton. We don’t have much information on the specs but told the performance is top-tier for the hardcore audiophile.

Glass Full of Radio

Glass Full of Radio

Have you ever tried this: take a glass (wine glass is better) and fill it more than half with water, then dip your finger in the water and rub it on the rim in a circular motion. Soon a very peaceful rhythm, more like Buddhist chants, can be heard. Playing on this physics is the radi_O, a concept radio that hopes to keep the intuitive bond between the music-box and humans, intact. And just like the finger on the glass, a good swirl on the radi_O rim controls the volume and the music station. Awesome!

Strap-on Some Groove

Strap-on Some Groove

The GROOVESTRAP is a T-shaped handy thang that hooks onto an external 2.5-inch external Hard Drive and converts it to a useful interim MP3 player. Kinda getting you back into the groove with your music on the go. It features a knob on both the sides of the T, to be used as controls for volume and track shifting. Totally digging its minimal style coupled with utilitarian approach.

The Headbanger’s unique headband and over-ear headphone combination is the perfect design for any athlete. The design holds the headphones firmly onto the users head and gives them unparalleled performance when it comes to any kind of sport. Extreme sports will benefit the most from this technology because they often put the athletes in situations that would easily cause traditional headphones to break or fly .
