Clip The Glove

Clip The Glove

The Rubber Glove Clip is one of those designs that you go – why didn’t I think of this before! Yes, we’ve been a dud about it. I have lost one too many cleaning gloves to wear and tear while drying them on the laundry line with a clothespin attached to them. This clip design should minimize my losses!

e-Ink Your Smartphone

e-Ink Your Smartphone

InkCase+ is a stand-alone 3.5-inch e-ink screen that can either be inserted into a dedicated smartphone case or used as an auxiliary second screen. The design will also let consumers infinitely personalize their phone case with images and allow notifications to be pushed to the low power e-ink screen. This means that when users want to check their notifications or even read a book, there’s no need to power on the main screen as the InkCase+ is always on.

Lesson #5 - How To Save Water

Lesson #5 – How To Save Water

While adjusting the temperature of the water, most of us waste a good bucket or two. To make sure we don’t do this kinda stupid wastage, the Eco-shower features an additional holding unit, that takes in the first rush of cold water and heat it up for you. It’s a neat idea and hopefully by the end of this year we should see a working prototype.

Ultra-lux Powerboat

Ultra-lux Powerboat

This sporty yet sophisticated luxury powerboat concept takes inspiration from its land-bound cousin, the super sports car. Aside from its flared fender-like frame, the highlight of the auto-inspired design is a cockpit fit with racing-style bucket seats, a center console, proper dash and creature comforts like climate control. Though the interior is more akin to a Fisker Karma than a fishing boat, the design is contrasted with classic nautical features like its beautiful slatted, wraparound deck. DO WANT!

The Kitchen Lab

The Kitchen Lab

Spirulina is a magic superfood that is suitable for all ages and stages in life. You can Wiki the details, so I’m moving on to the concept of this project called ‘Grow Your Own Proteins’. The idea is to have a workstation that allows you to grow and then 3D print Spirulina along with other food, so that you indulge in a healthy diet. This mini lab is equipped with all the tools to make it you an urban aqua-farmer.

Water Collection Made Easy

Water Collection Made Easy

There are many ideas out there, which are low-cost and effective in collecting waters in rural and remote areas. These are areas like refugee camps in Africa where running water is not easily accessible. The Water Roll is a container that can be rolled along a path and by adding a removable faucet; you can directly use it to drain the water. The container is covered with recycled-tire material that adds a layer of protection and extends the useful life.

A speaker as good alive as dead.

A speaker as good alive as dead.

We’d like to believe our beloved devices will last us a lifetime, but they all have an expiration date whether it’s because we upgrade or they fail to continue working. Most current electronics are wrongly designed around our false trust that they will last forever, & therefore pay little attention to the product’s afterlife. The ORBiS Bluetooth speaker is not one of these products! Each & every component was thoughtfully crafted with awareness to it’s impermanence. As much as possible, it’s recyclable, salvageable, fixable & safely disposable. All without sacrificing functionality or beauty!
