I Want To Be A Foreman

I Want To Be A Foreman

The lifestyle of a construction foreman never appealed to be because it’s not glamorous enough. We are talking about me here. I’m about as reserved as Cher on Oscar night. I digress. If the TRIANGLE is what future foremen will be riding around in, then sign me up. Yes its got all-terrain mobility and an electric motor but HELLO, it’s a CATEPILLAR disguised as a scooter. I get to be in charge and do so in one of these things? Loves it.

Two Motorcycles Become One Car

Two Motorcycles Become One Car

This is the real deal in modern wild design. This is the “Plug-In” affordable youth mobility project by Ramesh Gound. According to Gound, there is a big “buy 1 get 1 free” shopping attitude in the market around the Ahmedabad area of India. This simple concept gave Gound the idea to take two motorcycles and attach them in the middle. Each motorcycle is owned by its respective party, a young person with a big appetite for sports vehicles but a small pocketbook, then they attach. Once two motos attach in the middle, they become that fantastic sports car from heaven.

Harley Futurism

Harley Futurism

Let’s talk about the future of Harley Davidson. Motorcycles from OUTER SPACE! And what does that mean? Laser cuts. Laser cuts all over the place. Options. Wheels. Great things. All of this under the title “2020 Harley Davidson 1,” designed by Jonathan Russell. There’s other features, like two ways to sit, greatnesses here and there, but the most fabulous of these is the Apple Computers inspired laser-etched perforations in the aluminum which gives translucency enough to let the LED lights underneath shine through.

When Two Wheels Are Better Than Two

When Two Wheels Are Better Than Two

Let’s deal with some harsh reality here. Aside from letting Lindsay Lohan drive your SUV on a saturday night, the most dangerous vehicle to operate on the planet is a motorcycle. Designer Igor Chak knows this fact all to well. He has designed a concept that does its best to make your two wheeled lifestyle a lot less horrifying. Incorporating every bell and whistle you can imagine into this concept, Igor has rendered up a motorcycle that would make Tony Stark rust with jealousy.

Advance Carbon Fiber Electric Bike

Advance Carbon Fiber Electric Bike

Thinking caps on because this takes some imagination to digest. The HMK 561 is a carbon fiber bike with special electrical properties that hold power right inside the frame. Carbon fiber is highly conductive so the designer uses it as a power distribution network instead of  wires. The power drives the lights and the motors in between the rims but get this… there’s regenerative braking. All that energy drives a system that turns the wheels using a counter-turning axel in lieu of gears and chains.

Hydromagnificence on Two Wheels

Hydromagnificence on Two Wheels

Welcome to one magnificent looking BMW concept bike. It’s white, it’s blue, it’s black, it’s beautiful, and it’s hydrogen powered. That’s for realzies. Executed by several students of the ISD of Valenciennes (France), made lovely by a vision for the ecological future of motorbikes. Technologies abound, the “BMW HP Kunst” employs a cryogenic hydrogen tank, battery Li-Po, electronical brakes and controls, and electromagnetic suspensions.

Foldable and Re Chargeable

Foldable and Re Chargeable

Employing its very own lithium-ion-polymer battery, the “BiCX” recharges with human power. Both with pedaling and with free-riding (as in when you’re just coasting your way down a gigantic hill.) Using the power is the fun part though, of course. You reap what you sow. Both a cruise mode and a booster button. A booster button!

Flat White Bike for the Weekend Warrior

Flat White Bike for the Weekend Warrior

High modulus carbon fiber! Bike for the talented rider! This bike is made for those folks who use their car during the week, but on weekends bike in the mountains, defending themselves against wolves for the greater good of their physical health! How does it help in this? The bike has a lithium ion battery powered automatic stepless gear transmission! What’s that mean? It decides what gear to be in based on the rider’s cadence, power, and speed!

Bamboo Fashioned Bam!

Bamboo Fashioned Bam!

BamTrike is a three-wheeler that goes with the fancy tag of being a Personal Mobility Vehicle. Besides sporting a really unique form, the most intriguing part of this concept is the usage of Bamboo as a building material. The choice stems from the fact that structurally, bamboo compares to fiberglass, in woven form. The rider of the vehicle gets to sit in a comfy reclined position and the side storage pockets are sufficient to carry your personals. As a recreational vehicle, it really looks neat!

OPEN for Bikish Business

OPEN for Bikish Business

All up in Copenhagen. This is a bike system design for the city! An open, “floating” system that allows the people using the bike system to ride a bike, park a bike, do what they came to do, whip out their map, find the closest bike, and ride that bike to their next location. This is the OPENbike system. Fully adjustable, full system in place to place the bikes where they’re needed.

Electric Racer

Electric Racer

If given a free hand and will, designer Maarten Timmer hopes to recreate bike-racing magic with an Electrical Powered Motorcycle! Don’t be so lofty and hear his plans out. This is what the VertiGO features: electric propulsion, low noise and emissions, a silent motor, high torque, very fast acceleration, maximum speed on the straights (100 to 150 km ride on a “battery pack”).
