Polar Bear in your Freezer

Polar Bear in your Freezer

This clever ice cube tray takes the form of everyone’s favorite arctic animal- the polar bear! Simply fill it like a water bottle and throw it in the freezer. Because it’s sealed, it prevents the ice from absorbing the odors of your fridge or particles from other food items. You don’t even have to touch the cubes to remove- just bang it on the counter to loosen the cubes and they’ll fall right out.

Simpler isn't always better!

Simpler isn’t always better!

It was just a few days ago that I was in the midst of adding parmesan to my homemade pasta when I started pondering the old-fashioned grater that I was using. I was thinking, “this thing is so simple, yet so uncomfortable and hard to clean.” I wondered if it could be made better by simplifying it further. Needless to say, I never came up with a solution. BUT, looking at the Satellite Grater here, I now realize the answer wasn’t to simplify, it was to enhance! Check it out!

Kerosene stoves are popular with the rural folks, especially in Africa and India. Although they provide a cheaper option to cooking, most of the stove designs have this danger of bursting into flames or causing an explosion. The Indaba Kerosene Stove is a sleeker and safer cooking stove that employs several safety mechanisms.

Chef Brown is an adorable chef sitting on your kitchen counter. Hooked up to the Internet, the chef is a hub that searches for recipes from both pre-installed data and the web. The interactive device is good to the beginners and children and keeps track on the steps and timings indicated in the recipe. If you need it to narrate the recipe instead, it will do that too.
