Addicted To Vacuum Sealing

Addicted To Vacuum Sealing

Hello, my name is Long Tran and I’m addicted to vacuum sealing. Yes ever since I saw the Ron Popeil kitchen sealer, I’ve been a vacuum sealing nut. That’s why I’m enthralled with Jongho Nho’s Vacuum Sealer. The whole system comes with varying size plastic containers each with a port to dock the handy sealer to. Push the button and listen to the sound of freshness as all air is sucked out.

Toaster With Looks That Kill

Toaster With Looks That Kill

The Nahamer T450 is the first environmentally sustainable toaster. It is 20% faster and uses half the energy of a standard 900W toaster by having close-proximity low-temperature heating elements. If only one slice of bread it inserted then only one side of the toaster is turned on.

That Two Timing Barista!

That Two Timing Barista!

Ok don’t be shy, but who here has always secretly wanted some group action? You know, the kind of action where hands come from every direction and push all your right buttons… ultimately letting off a little steam. Yeah, making coffee can be so HOT! Especially when it’s with “The Barista” by Patrik Pettersson. Patrick knows just what you want and how you take it with this multiple partner espresso machine.

Must Get Every Last Bit Out

Must Get Every Last Bit Out

Problem: Spoon or knife, I can’t seem to get the last bit of peanut butter out! Ugh, I know there’s totally enough left for a nice even layer on a slice of bread but short of cutting the jar I have no alternatives – or do I?

Fresh By A Ring Of Blue Light

Fresh By A Ring Of Blue Light

We all love fruit but they’re not exactly cheap and usually demand to be eaten sooner than later, otherwise the ravages of time wreak  havoc on them. Blue is a concept fruit bowl that utilizes FotofreshTM technology – the same one found in the Halo vacuum and many new refrigerators. The blue wavelength inhibits and kills bacteria thereby prolonging shelf life.

Cooking with a Twist

Cooking with a Twist

Here is a fun new way to cook that could either really annoy some chefs out there or really make many of us happy for the added built in convenience. The “Arcus” is a freestanding stove concept created in cooperation with Miele & CIE. AG. The interesting aspect of this stove is the built in ability to raise or lower the heat with a simple twist of the pot or pan you are cooking with.

Hug your morning wood...

Hug your morning wood…

Wow, where do I begin with this one? This is definitely going in my WTF File under WTF?!?! It seems as though a bunch of students at Bezalel Academy for Arts and Crafts got together and thought about how to best criticize societies consumer driven tendencies. Ironically, after philosophically agreeing on making an object (for purchase no less), they were convinced that society needed to be more “intimate” with their purchased objects, and should be encouraged to “caress” them in order to get said objects to function.

Faucet with Functionality

Faucet with Functionality

Hand cleaning dishes is not a favorite job of mine, but one that must be done. Unfortunately, using one hand to hold a large pot while using the spray nozzle with the other is a feat in and of itself. I have stumbled upon a new design by Kohler. The Kohler Karbon Articulating Kitchen Faucet, is an answer to all homeowners dreams, when it comes to cooking or cleaning in your kitchen sink. With a futuristic design, that can be placed in several different positions the faucet allows for the user to use both hands to fill large pots, clean the dishes, or even to prepare food.

Can You Handle My JUMI?

Can You Handle My JUMI?

Matthias Hiller must have had a few knocks and bruises in his life to have come up with such a neat and useful product. “Jumi” is a silicone handle made for cabinet handles or drawer pulls. Designed with two things in mind – safety and organization. With the soft silicone handle, Jumi allows for no more bumps and the pictogram allows for the user to see what is behind the closed door or drawer.

Your Fridge Sucks, This One's Better

Your Fridge Sucks, This One’s Better

We all know CFC and HFC’s damage the ozone layer, and it’s only a matter of time when HFC’s will be banned just like CFC’s were in 1996. But what our freezers? There’s been much debate regarding passive eco cooling and thermoelectric cooling – now Oceania, designed by Tez Patel brings both technologies together in his eco fridge design.
