Measuring cup designs have changed throughout the years from the old metal design style to a more modern design. However, the newer designs have always been on the cool side of design, but far from being reliable. A New York design company, Pollen Design, has created a newer version of the measuring cup called NuScup. NuScup, is an adjustable measuring scoop that comes with a co-molded seal.

Designer Kwangho Lee thought it would be clever to take old sheets of styrofoam and mold them into furniture. Now before birds, polar bears, rabbits, and treehuggers clobber me, I want to say it’s just a concept. Nobody is really going to make styrofoam furniture. But to the material’s credit, it does get warmer the longer you sit on it.

Here is a new design, that we haven’t seen a lot of lately. I personally do not own a coat hanger, because the past designs have been, well, quite boring, and do not fit with the style of my home. Here we have a very modern and stylish coat hanger that can work perfectly in any home environment, and one you would be pleased to have on display.

If you are like me, mornings are not your best friend, and being a bit of a procrastinator at picking out my clothes and having them ready for the next day is also another weakness of mine. Unfortunately, when I do wait until the morning of, to pick out what I am going to where for the day, it is usually during a time when my significant other is still sawing logs in the bed. That is why I am so excited about the new Invisilight design.

I was recently in the market for a new desk for my home office. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much to choose from in the stores I was searching in. Until, I came across this most unique design from Martin Holzapfel. The Bureau is a distinctive desk design. Made from MDF, silvergrew lacquered, The Bureau is a design that all will enjoy. The design combines several functions into one design. It can be a desk and a shelf that is completely movable to the owners liking.

Conserving water is important in today’s world. We waste more water than we should. As relaxing as taking a long, hot bath in deep water is to relieve stress, we must think about the effects that has on our environment. That is why designer Lyndon Craig designed the Peak Bath. The Peak Bath was designed to fit the contour of our bodies while we are sitting in a tub taking a bath.

The waterfall was created by a group of men for a public display in the heart of Tokyo in 2006. The architecture was designed by Tadao Ando and the “waterfall” optical glass bar was designed by Tokujin Yoshioka and installation was performed by Olafur Eliasson. Together, this group of men created what appears to be a bar made from water.

Designed bearing similarities to an old garden table, the Mulinello, or “the twist” table combines several designs into one table. In the middle, the table can spin around similar to that of a “lazy susan”, allowing for dinner guests to grab what they need without having to reach across the table with bad manners.

Black Hole is a rubbery elastic bag that folds flat when unused but can balloon up to gargantuan proportions when you stuff all your crap it in. The unique material is super strong, light, and flexible yet it’s thin enough to leave impressions of what you have inside. In a sense your hidden junk transforms into an art piece that can be proudly displayed.

Space is valuable. We often find ourselves wishing for more space in our homes and offices. However, we sometimes need a quick fix for displaying things that are precious to us or a place to lay a drink on if guests are over for a quick visit. With Picturetable, we have the best of both worlds. Hanging on the wall, it looks as if you are displaying a beautiful photograph in a unique picture frame.

As parents or caregivers of babies, we always want them to be safe in our care. We also look for modern and stylish products that will blend in to our surroundings in our home. With Coco bloom, we get all that and much more. It is a design much different than old style baby loungers. Uniquely made from patented stylewood and plexistyle, this lounger is a little nest for your babe.

In a unique design by designer Hunn Wai, the Wood X Plastic Shelf is a unique design all its’ own. Wood X is made from smoke colored plastic shelves and beech poles. Looking closely, Wood X is based on a concept of impaling the wooden poles into the plastic. How is this done? Well the plastic is heated up and holes are cut into it.
