Inflate the Wave Fantastic

Inflate the Wave Fantastic

Hello again, Extreme Sportsmen-and-women. It’s not far off; that lovely season when the whole of North America can jump in the water and splash about wildly. Here’s a toy that boat and super-fast pontoon owners can look forward to. It’s the “LULU1.” Super steerable, fun, bright and colorful for this midwest-lake fashion season. It’s the “first” inflatable tow-able watersports toy that you can do tricks on. Turn a 180, 720, 6120; whatever strikes your fantasy.

Smarten Up Poochie, Dog Brick Review

Smarten Up Poochie, Dog Brick Review

Pet owners know nothing is too good for their poochie or kitty. They readily spend $100 on their beloved companions without batting an eyelash. Hey if you got the money, who better to spoil than your pets? In my quest to find something not only fun but mentally stimulating for my dog Miko, I came across a line of pet toys from a Swedish company called Nina Ottosson. They were kind enough to send my dog a few items from their new lineup. Hit the jump for my Miko’s review.

Now More iPhone Friendly, ZAGG Z.Buds Review

Back in October 2008, ZAGG sent us a prototype of their iPhone Z.Buds earbuds promising the best buds for your money. A lot of companies make the same promise but this is one product I think is worth a look if you’re willing to buy outside Apple’s utopian product design and brand control. Hon, Make Me A Card Please!

Hon, Make Me A Card Please!

Oh you lazy slob! You can expect that comment, coming your way this Valentines’! Christmas you scraped through…thank god for that designer cashmere you got her. But come February, you’re going to need more than just roses and champagne. Too late to join art classes buddy; might as well DIY with The ___ Cards.

Guerilla Photography, Gorillapod Review

Guerilla Photography, Gorillapod Review

I saw some generic knock off at my local electronics retailer and decided it was high time to try the real deal first before giving the knock off a chance. Joby was kind enough to answer my request and sent me their wildly popular Gorillapod SLR-ZOOM, the flexi-bendy tripod that gets your camera into more nooks and crannies than you thought possible. Trend Report: Too Late Watch

Trend Report: Too Late Watch

They’re a huge hit in Italy, over 10,000 watches sold in the first 10 days and half a million in the first year of distribution. The waterproof version was just released this past September. The Too Late Watch is the most simplistic of simple timepieces with nothing more than a monochrome digital readout. Hell, it doesn’t even have an alarm function but it does come in a bazillion colors.

Unisex Wallet – Dosh Wallet Review

Unisex Wallet – Dosh Wallet Review

Women have their purses and men have their wallets – so the stereotype goes. However in this day and age, we are seeing more and more unisex items made available that touch both the feminine and masculine side of all of us. I have to be honest here, my man’s wallets, they have always seemed so boring and plain. I was searching online a couple of months back for a nice new wallet upgrade to give my hunny for Christmas this year, and stumbled upon these guys: Dosh – Wallet as Art.

Rainbow Star Cutey Review

Rainbow Star Cutey Review

About a month ago, I had the pleasure of receiving the Rainbow Star Cutey by Lumenworks. I have a major weakness for groovy lighting, especially ones that change colors. This sweet little beast of a light is a smaller version to Lumenworks Rainbow Star light. Its base is made of metal and the transparent acrylic top is the icing on the cake for this little beauty.

Don't Call it a Bean Bag, SumoSac Review

Don’t Call it a Bean Bag, SumoSac Review

Around this time last year we reviewed the Sumo Omni Lounge. It’s still in the office and despite being subjected to people instinctually wanting to run and “cannonball” on it, it has held up well. We recently had a chance to try out Sumolounge’s new and expanded product line, namely the SumoSac. In short, everything has been vastly improved. Tho the original Sumo Omni used “beads” and retained a beanbag-like consistency, the SumoSac is totally different. It opts for batting. Hit the jump for our review.
