The SENZ Umbrella is the most unique umbrella I’ve ever seen and used and that’s saying a lot because how “designed” can an umbrella be? What makes the SENZ different is its aerodynamic shape which keeps rain off your back and withstands up to 70 mph winds. One of my biggest pet peeves is plastic water bottles. I can’t stand the water bottle culture that has been raging for years now. Everyone needing 24/7 “hydration” is just a bunch of pseudo-science hooey invented by water marketers. Sure water is essential for sustaining life, but do we really need to be spending so much money and landfill space on simple drinking water? RKS, designers of the MIMIQUE mobile phone concept have gotten together with KOR Water to address the issue of irresponsible water bottlers and consumers.

With the tech blogs getting all hot and bothered over Art Lebedev’s Optimus Maximus keyboard and it’s customizable OLED keys, we thought we would show off a slightly more analog version of the same concept. At no where near the Optimus Maximus price of nearly $2,000 USDs, this $30 version called “Keyboard Shortcut Skins” by Photojojo serves essentially the exact same function.

Fingers is made of clear acrylic and it features a laser-cut pattern of slots which are used to accommodate loose computer cables. The keyboard’s sloping position results in improved typing comfort and better processor ventilation, while the screen is raised closer to eyelevel offering better ergonomics.

Taking advantage of gravitational pull, the device easily weighs a load on a cleverly designed rocker. Goods up to 2 kg are precisely weighed by shifting a weight.
