Chemistry Lab Equipments On The Table

Chemistry Lab Equipments On The Table

A look at these bottles and you go…OMG am I in the chemistry lab again? No you’re not, but you may as well re-visit the Pipette Bottles and enjoy them. Only this time you store your oil & vinegar in it and proudly display them on your kitchen counter or dining table. Actually go ahead and store any kinda drippy sauce in them, and use the pipette to measure out the exact quantity of the condiment you want. Not a drop more nor a drop less!

IZ It Cocktail Time

IZ It Cocktail Time

To understand Iz you need some background: the Turks love this drink called Ayran or Airan, which is blended yogurt and water. They make it in a special kind of way, and as poetic as it may seem, using the Iz leaves a flower pattern on the user’s palm. The steel body of the cocktail maker is complimented with a blue intricate-pattern elastomer seal.

Clinking Bottles No More

Clinking Bottles No More

A drinks caddy need not fall under ID but a functional twist to the design, definitely warrants a mention. I’m talking about the W310 WAVE Drinks Caddy, an ideal basket to transport your precious bottles of sodas and wine from point A to point B. The outer wave structure makes it easy to fit the basket in the boot of a car. However the coolest part is the inner bottle-separator that holds each bottle in its place, therefore no clinking, clashing of glass.

Hangin On An Arrow

Hangin On An Arrow

I totally agree with Long Tran when he says that we need to creatively organize our mess. There’s really nothing artistic about clothes strewn all over your house. So, if you’re figuring out a way to manage clothes in a cool stylish way, then the Arrow Hanger is the answer for you. The shaft of the arrow slings out when you want to hang many clothes from hangers, but if it’s just a hat or a coat, you can leave the shaft up. Besides the functional aspect, me thinks it’s smart enough to be up on any wall!

1 Tool To Rule Them All

1 Tool To Rule Them All

I have a tool caddy in my kitchen filled with slotted spoons, spatulas, ladles and some omelette flipper thing. Wanna know something? It is all for show. I use 2 out of the 9 items in that caddy. It makes me look like a serious cook but now that I look at this product called the Uni-tool, I’m ready to “be real” about my abilities. Made from tough nylon, heat resistant up to 240ºC, comprised of a slotted spoon, turner, cutting edge, ladle and spatula; I think I’m set. This is all I need. Now make one is multiple colors and I’m sold.

Super Cool And Super Cute!

Super Cool And Super Cute!

A designer professor once told me that the key to a good design was innovating on an existing one. Kinda like improvising and adding a new dimension to the product. Take the casestudy of keys; until now the focus has been improving the locking mechanism and safety features. I don’t think many (or any) have considered re-designing the styling of a key per se. Uber-cool transportation designer Greg has. His SUPER COOL Designer STAT KEYS collection are stylized blank keys that can be cut to fit majority of American locks and Kwikset locks.

5 Favorite Spices, Mago5 Spice Rack Review

5 Favorite Spices, Mago5 Spice Rack Review

I’m a vegetarian and sometimes it’s challenging to whip up something quick and tasty. No time to slave over the stove waiting for the flavors of garlic, celery, onion, and carrots to meld. That means all my flavors need to come from spices and there are 5 I use most often when I make my favorite type of food; soups. Enter the Mago5 magnetic spice rack.

Bluelounge CableDrop

Bluelounge CableDrop

Look around you computer. You probably have one too many cables strung about and a few more dangling off your desk. Some of us have come up with creative ways to keep them in place but for a measly $9.95, you can keep them in check without resorting to tape or ugly twist ties. The Bluelounge CableDrop comes in multi-colored packs of 6 with adhesive backs. They are uniquely shaped to hold everything from cables to pens. Skies the limit really.

Toys for Senior Dogs, Old Soul Review

Toys for Senior Dogs, Old Soul Review

If you’ve ever perused the toy aisle of a pet store, the options are overwhelming. “One for every occasion” is an understatement. It occurred to me most toys were geared towards puppies and young adults. The seniors, much like their human counterparts, totally get shafted. I have a 9 y.o. dog which by canine standards is more than mature. My search led me to a series of dog toys called Old Soul by a cool little company called Planet Dog.

No One Person Safe from Bath Mines

No One Person Safe from Bath Mines

Actually it’s called the “Bath Bomb,” but any naval commando super sailor knows that this is a mine. Any any naval commando super sailor also knows that one needs dolphins to check for mines. Note: Bath Bomb is “dolphins not included.” This design was designed by none other than Mukomelov Aleksandr. An explosive designer is he. Russian. Tough. That’s what you’ve gotta be to pop one of these into your bathtub. Believe that.

Stay Organized, Bluelounge SpaceStation Review

Stay Organized, Bluelounge SpaceStation Review

You can call it a desktop organizer but it doesn’t hold paperclips, pens, and pencils. It’s all the other stuff we ignore – the cables and wires that make our laptops look like they’re hooked up to Skynet. The Bluelounge SpaceStation is a $79 peripheral that’ll clean up clutter and elevate your laptop while saving a few of those USB ports because it’s hiding a few of its own. Hit the jump for my review.
