Review: naoLoop Loft Your Handy Organizer

Review: naoLoop Loft Your Handy Organizer

To the layman the naoLoop Loft is nothing but a glamorized sheet of metal bended in three places; powder coated and has tension straps to hold things in place. But herein lays the difference: layman vs actual user aka me! I have been using the naoLoop Loft for the past three months and can tell you this; it sure is a handy organizer especially in a house populated with four adults and two children! The Spicy Hug Of Yin And Yang

The Spicy Hug Of Yin And Yang

There is nothing more comforting than a warm hug from your mother. It’s the most natural form of reassurance, and metaphorically speaking, an embrace can help us conquer our fears and achieve aspirations. My point is that a hug says a lot about human emotions, be it a bear hug or side-shoulder embrace. Depicting this raw gesture is the Hug Salt & Pepper Shakers delightful with a zing. Because when viewed from above, they also resembles Yin & Yang!

Totally Oinked By The Coink!

Totally Oinked By The Coink!

One of the most effervescent styles in personalized banking is the trusty Piggy Bank. Some have it for real Dimes ’n Dollar savings; others keep it for pure novelty reasons. I for one, could never manage to save a single penny; yes I’m guilty of being a spendthrift! So if you’re still into home savings or want to teach your kids how to; this ceramic COINK Piggy Bank is the way to go. Its neatness-quotient comes from the wide mouth that allows you to empty your pockets faster; withdrawals are also from that same wide mouth!

When DuPont Corian Married Fashion

When DuPont Corian Married Fashion

In the wicked mind of designer James Thompson, this marriage is the perfect platform to explore the possibilities of fashion accessories, namely rings and awesome pendants. The unlikely twist comes in the form of titanium as the metallic base. Hand crafted and a far cry from the Haoshi X Rings that Long Tran reviewed, tell me which ones are more your style? The Black Badger or the Haoshi X?

The Hanging Fetish

The Hanging Fetish

What fetish do you have? Come on be honest about it. I know of a designer who has a fetish of designing stuff that hangs…but honestly it’s really cute stuff. Like the last time I showcased his Hanging Tea, which we all appreciated. So does ID also include novelty stuff like this cute Hanger Dog? Only thing with this prop is that it’s not restrictive to teabags, you can hang your keys around its neck, and it sits sweetly around the edge of your cup, frames etc. I think I have a “cute stuff fetish”, what about you?

Another Impostor!

Another Impostor!

A few posts ago we discussed how ID guys like to serenade one thing for the other, maybe it’s their kick for getting things intriguing. Why else would you want hand grenades fashioned as Salt & Pepper Shakers, but for their Taste Explosion?

Get The Message?

Get The Message?

If you like something, it’s neat to endorse it in your day-to-day lives. Like when you go to Disneyland you buy Mickey stuff, likewise with this delightful set of Icon bags. They do nothing but carry your stuff in style! Bottom line we have a Windows range available, so let’s make the most of it: Message (Messenger Bag), My Photo (Camera Bag), Documents (Laptop Bag) & My Document (Laptop Bag)

Concrete Drinking

Concrete Drinking

The City Rain Concrete Glass is a labor of love, really! It’s not only a scientific process of mixing the right amount of concrete (calculating the percentage of admixture), keeping the cement wet and painstakingly handcrafting the set. It’s also nurturing each piece for almost a week, coz that’s how long it takes to manufacture them. Now why would someone go through these labor pains, one may ask? It’s so that you get the feel of “wet street and glass window”, just for kicks! It’s eyecandy as well!

Glass Half Full…Always

Glass Half Full…Always

Did you ever contemplate whether your glass was half empty or half full? Thank heavens designer Alissia Melka-Teichroew did some thinking, and came up with these really classy InsideOut series. Martini Glasses and Champagne Flutes made out of hand-blown borosilicate glass. It has the advantage of double-walled glass, which provides insulation, thus keeping your drink colder for longer.

Flower Arrangements

Flower Arrangements

It’s always nice to have a pretty vase with fresh flowers in it sitting in your living room. But what really impresses me, are not those typical Victorian or Ming sorts. I prefer the dare-to-be different ones, like this Adaptation Vases by Brandon Perhacs. A set of four glass tubes with a magnetic base that can tilt and slant on whim! Put in long stems of gorgeous blooms and play with the setting.

Sexy Oil Lamps

Sexy Oil Lamps

Interior decoration is way lot tougher than you think. It’s always the small knick-knacks and the carefully thought-out pieces that make your apartment reflect your style and personality. There is helluva difference between just lighting an ordinary candle and something as classy as the Migration Single Oil Lamps. Besides a designer touch, the precision-machined stainless steel torch encasing the fiberglass wick, creates magic lighting.

Growing Some Pictureframes

Growing Some Pictureframes

Holiday season is round the bend and we usually end up clicking so many pictures. Using digital frames is the given standard these days, but somehow I still got the soft nook for printed pics. So if you’re more traditional with pictures, naturally you’d like to display them well. This is where the GrowFrame Squares and GrowFrame come into play. Keep clicking lovely pictures of family and friends and add them using these magnetic-held frames. More pictures, frames, growth!
