Like a Penguin

Like a Penguin

The Penguin faucet series is designed to conserve water and encourage eco-responsible living. The Penguin faucet, which bears a distinct resemblance to the body of a penguin, is low flow and dispenses water at a rate of 1.5 GPM. Not only does this tug at my heart strings for all things penguin inspired, it also happens to look pretty good although I feel like something in the series should have resembled a penguin egg.

Warms More Than Towels

Warms More Than Towels

ETERNITY is a radiator with a distinctive round shape reminiscent of an oval ring and offers a functional solution for any bathroom because it’s also a handy towel warmer. Made of polished aluminum but also available in black and white.

Hammock O Water

Hammock O Water

This design is called Vessel, it’s a bathtub that without a doubt uniquely floats above the ground, letting you bathe in an environment unlike anything you’ve been in before. What’s the benefit? You mean what’s the benefit other than it’s completely amazing and there’s nothing else like it? This new design uses carbon-fibre technology developed for the autosport and aerospace industries to bring you fine surfaces unlike any comfortable place you’ve been to with your bare butt.

Watercolor Rainbow Basin is a Good Idea

Watercolor Rainbow Basin is a Good Idea

Dugata or The Rainbow Washbasin is specifically designed for children’s bathrooms, but I can see it being endorsed by people who are young at heart. The arc body of the basin signifies the bow but sadly instead of a pot-of-gold, we find the two drains at either end! Not fair, I totally want mine in VIBGYOR with the works!

Rub A Dub Dub, Futuristic Tub

Rub A Dub Dub, Futuristic Tub

The Tulip is a revolutionary bath/shower combo designed for small bathrooms. Inspired by tulip blooms, the pod like shape serves as a bath when open and as a shower when closed. In this upright position, the footprint is significantly reduced. This inspired and efficient use of space brings luxury features normally reserved for traditional units into the smallest bathrooms. Underwater jets, massagers and programmable sequences ensure the most relaxing bathing experience. Patent pending and looking for a manufacturer.

Shower Flower!

Shower Flower!

The River Flowing System doesn’t give you the chance of wondering if you have it set to flow or tap. The design is such that the showerhead is placed above a basin-esque bowl and the water flows down as a stream. Water pressure and temperature settings are controlled via a centralized knob and showerhead is held into place via magnets. So basically you just turn the shower on and the water cascades down the bowl-lip, giving you the best of both the worlds!

Sink in Space

Sink in Space

Let me take you on a fancy journey into the deep thought involved in a sculptural sink design. This is a world where a spaceship floats over a sea of porcelain, bringing you only what the title of the project implies: “The Dream of Water.” Of course this sink is fully functional, and using it will be like a dream to you. Come with me into the poetry that is water delivery, brought to you by no less that designer Jerome Olivet.

Red Dot Basin for You!

Red Dot Basin for You!

This is a lovely basin faucet that lets you know exactly what’s going on with your hot and cold water. How? Take a peek! It’s not one of those newfangled digital display sorts of things, nay, this is just fabulous sculptural design. Across the head of the faucet you’ll see two paths, one for cold water, and one for hot. As they meet at the tip of the spout, a magical combination brings you warm.

Mirror Mirror Snap My Face

Mirror Mirror Snap My Face

Snap a photograph, please and thank you. Freaked out yet? It’s not a spy concept! This is a friendly through-camera photo session, and it goes all year around. This concept goes by the name “Daily you,” and it’s a mirror with a camera embedded into it. Each time you stand in front of the mirror in the morning to touch up your face (or whatever you do there), it detects you looking into it, focuses, and takes a single photograph. Once there is a collection of photos of your face, there’s a “Play” mode which can show you images by week, by month, or annually – or of course, however often you’d like.

Hanging on a FOLD

Hanging on a FOLD

Winter is setting in and one of the biggest concerns is getting towels dry enough for repeated use . FOLD Radiator is a handy solution where you use its bent corners to hang your wet, used towels; keeps them dry and warm. Thankfully it looks nothing like a radiator – easily passable as wall art. Totally want one.

Stealthy Faucets

Stealthy Faucets

It’s not every day you see bathroom fittings inspired by stealth aircraft but hey, why not? The sharp angles compliment the fluidity of water. The Stealth Collection looks like it came out of a secret design center in the Pentagon, but it’s actually from award winning manufacturer GRAFF. This ultra modern faucet is capable of a 1.5-2.2 gallon/per minute water-saving flow rate and comes available in polished chrome or Steelnox satin nickel finishes. My personal favorite is the Steelnox satin. STUNNING, just absolutely stunning.

Divided Shower

Divided Shower

The BRS is a shower system that features a transparent tank that divides the shower panel from the washbasin and toilet cistern, back to back. Although this Liteon Awards winning design is intended for water saving means while waiting for your shower water to heat up; I like it for its design layout. The only change I would like to suggest is to have everything on one side, because the back-to-back design limits space usage and will not be feasible for small toilets.

A Soapy Solution, One At A Time

A Soapy Solution, One At A Time

Conservationists are few and far between, so sometimes it really depends on how cleverly you design a product to get the desired eco-green results. It’s quite natural for us to keep the water running while we lather our hands, so how about designing a faucet that allows you to do only ONE thing at a time! Presenting the Anti Waste Faucet: it holds a soap dispenser on the top half and the water-tap in the bottom part. Pump the lever down to dispense soap and raise it up to turn on the water. Basically you squish some liquid soap into your hands, lather up and then pull the lever up for water to rinse your hand.
