Plenty if you want the Roca Box. Segmented sanitary spaces, all come together like the accordion; compact in the box! For a good measure, a concept known as the “Thermal Bomb” has been thrown in. Thermal Bomb essentially uses humid air to heat the water and is supposedly energy efficient as well. Would you like to bathe in the box, or do you need conventional spacious grandeur?

It’s always about the future, and in the future you guys are going to realize the need of doubling up your interior spaces by adding more than one function to a room. Like, you may want your bathroom to double up as a gym when you’re not taking a bath. So how about you get the Roca Active & Relax Bathroom? It’s this luxurious room where the sunken bath is really sunken, invisible till you don’t open up the floorboards. No windows too, instead 3 floor-to-ceiling LCDs giving you the illusion of a panoramic view.

Still not satisfied? How about we give you a bathroom where the screens are connected to the Home PC so that you can watch movies as you laze in the double bathtub, or take a shower in the rainfall! Super sex-citing!

Shaving design: just what you woke up for this morning! This amazing shaving machine was made by designer Kristen Beck to be a shaving device that’ll work for life, not just for a couple years, only good for one type of facial hair. No! This is the one, the only one you’ll ever need! It’s got a ball and socket connection!

This shaver right here has one body, multiple heads. Like I said a moment ago, it’s got a ball and socket connection so it can follow the contours of the face and body. The LCD screen on the side recognizes which head is attached, and displays this information along with battery life along the side.

Sleek, lovely, futuristic, majestic carrying case has a home for every head and razor, and works as a drying and recharging station for all the bits. The body, shaving head, trimmer head, and guard are dried through ventilation under their secure spots. Underneath there’s a back door through which water can be emptied.

And that’s that!

Note: this project is called the Braun Continuum Shaving System and it was completed as a concept project at Bergishe Universität Wuppertal, sponsored by Braun.

The Waterdrop Shower Room brings to life the childhood fantasies of role-playing while taking a bath. Sometimes you’re a beastly pirate and sometimes a brave hero rescuing your ducks. This exciting enclosure comes with a tactile touchscreen that almost envelopes you. Its giant screen happily plays for you soothing melodies of the Chinese Opera to Nemo (although I reckon the big guys will opt for something more seductive!) and transports you to fantasy land!

The enclosure is actually a two-part thing; with the upper section rising up and lower section sliding and rotating to give easy access to the showers. Features include a powerful tactile touch screen that controls the video, music, showers, jet intensities and temperatures.

The new Aluminum Series Mirror by Sonia eliminates the need for a separate magnifying mirror. A magnet is placed on a pendulum behind the plate glass mirror. This magnet attracts the magnet, which is concealed into the mini Magnifying Mirror, allowing users to slide the small mirror anywhere on the large mirror. When not in use, it can be pulled off the surface and stored away.

Pardon my language but why the hell hasn’t someone come up with this already? I love it! I was actually just shopping for a magnifying mirror this weekend and they suck. The ones that swivel from the wall require bolts. The table top ones feel odd to use because you have to bend over to even see yourself. Brills Sonia, brills!

The beautiful Arc is a shower system that transcends from the normal “shower mode” to the “energy-saving mode”, effortlessly. In the eco avatar, it recycles the warm shower water on the spot so that you feel less guilty for indulging in a hot-luxury-rinse. What I don’t get is the hue and cry people make over wasting water in the shower, when we have film-makers squander precious liters in a parched city just to shoot a Tsunami scene, now that’s criminal wastage!

I have had so many fights with my husband and kids over wet towels. I mean, how much time does it take to go and hang out your wet used towel for drying? Less than Five Minutes! But No Sireez, they just won’t listen; they heap it up on the bed, floor; worse keep it wet n hanging in the loo. It’s for me to dry those stinky pieces! Wish I had a genie manufacture this Hanging Towel Dryer, which is shaped like a bathroom clothes rail, but is actually an air drier. Drape a wet towel over it, switch it on and in a few minutes or more, you have a warm dry towel! I so love this!

Here are two products destined for production. The Chiseled and U-Turn faucet concepts come to us by way of Design Jordan. I love the contrast between the abrupt sharpness and the organic nature of water. Too often I see these esoteric faucet designs that look stunning on their own but would look terrible in most homes. These concepts are what I call reachably futuristic.

The “Chiseled” concept is the first of a high-end bathroom/kitchen faucet range designed as if carved out of a block of chrome. The wide base, extended neck and rear-mounted handle provides a dynamic profile reinforcing the stealth-inspired sharp edges and flat facets.

The “U-Turn” concept is a high-end bathroom & kitchen faucet range designed around user need, incorporating bathroom items or providing additional features for personal objects. The bathroom sink model provides a recess to safely place rings while washing hands. The multi-purpose “U-turn” features a precast opening to place toothbrushes or other accessories like a customized liquid-soap dispenser.
The larger kitchen model includes an easy-access removable soap/sponge dish mounted on a rotating spout. The “U-turn” tip provides grooves to hang gloves, a watch or other personal accessories.

Would you buy one? They’re supposed to hit the international market… now.

Hooray! The tabbing of folders -and the entire organized world- has come nearly full circle! First they put tabs on folders, then they put tabs on desktops, then they put them on internet browsers, now they’re on the bathroom cabinet. Of course!

The main function of this cabinet seems to be “keeping personal items that you might want to keep hidden from a partner of flatmate.” I don’t know about that, especially if you’ve got a roommate who’s ever used a folder or a computer before… or even opened basically any sort of drawer or door before…

But this cabinet is cute and nice nonetheless. It’s made of oak, metal, and glass. Each portion is distinguishable from the other by color, just like your toothbrushes.

Yes if you, too, would love to evolve and cut off all that hair you’ve got on your body, you gorilla person, then you’ll be glad to know there’s now one SINGLE tool to do it all. The “All Area” shaver by designer Jonas Buck. Take this info from a couple of Ken dolls and discover for yourself what hair goes and what hair stays.

So first – the Ken Dolls. They are standing there in all their glory with dots all over them. The dots represent the survey results of 13 students (college aged and older,) male and female. What these students were asked was to show where they feel a MALE person should shave.

That’s not to say this lovely monster couldn’t work on a lady, but this was the first target. The results of this survey told designer Jonas Buck that most people cut hair off more than one place on their body pretty often. Thus: the “All Area.” It’s a razor and a trimmer in one, plus it’s got lovely length attachments to be used on longer hair. Everything you could want with a really nice-n-cute power button.

I foresee no problems!

UPDATE! We have a problem! …JK just a little mistake on my part as the publisher of this post. Take a look at this note from Mr. Buck:

The Ken Dolls were actually a poster that we used as a fun way to get people engaged in our questionnaire. The respondents placed those dots on the poster themselves. In that way it was a dynamic visualization of the progress of our research and a teaser to get more people engaged at the same time.

We asked roughly 100 hundred people out of the target group. The whole research questionnaire was conducted by the project group consisting of 13 students.

Even better!
