Dry in a Jiffy

Continuing Dyson’s legacy of unlikely innovations, the Traveldryer utilizes the same digital pulse technology in a super-compact unit with a versatile range of uses. The easy-to-use dryer directs and circulates warm air to dry everyday objects that aren’t suitable for the clothes-dryer. Perfect for wet weather, simply place it in your soggy shoes or under a soaked umbrella for a quick dry and to keep items from mildewing.

‘There is not much joy in frozen pizzas or eating out every other night.’ Based on his personal experience of living alone and hating to cook for a single person, designer Kim Risager brings us the alternative of the Fastronomy Cooker. Will this turnkey appliance motivate the singletons to cook a sumptuous meal or will this concept just be that – another idea; lets have a look.

The Ziggle Grill

The Ziggle Grill

Love the Ziggle for being this compact portable grill that looks neat and is functional. Typically grills are cumbersome and inconvenient, especially when you are out camping. The small size and compact demeanor make this zig a must-have on your camping gear list. Too bad it’s still a concept!

The Z Cool Fridge

The Z Cool Fridge

The Z-Refrigerator is a refrigerator, which has the function of professional cook’s fridge and is the size of a double-door fridge. It is has the Z structure; when door is opened to the left, there is a large space, and to the right is a space where drinks and instant food can be stored. The fridge also saves energy by minimizing the amount of cold air escaping at once. I think I like it more for its funky design more than anything else!

The Mini Blender

The Mini Blender

As far as kitchen appliances go, we have seen very little action with the hand blender. Limited innovations mean a lot of scope for improvement; maybe this is why I fancy this Mini Hand Blender concept. It’s an all-in-one deal that can be operated with one hand. The rechargeable unit can be turned on or off with the flick of the wrist. The Blender case, Blender, and mixing bowl are designed as a single unit so that the blades are kept hygienically stored and safe.

Moop The Mop

Moop The Mop

The Moop is a mopping system that not only helps clean up the room but also uses technology to its advantage. The electronic bucket has the capability of recycling the murky water, sanitizing it again for reuse. Although the designers have not explained the workings of this mop, but imagining a system where simple methods for recycling and reusing the water sounds like a good ‘green’ idea.

Reusing The Food Energy

Reusing The Food Energy

Food Scraps Reuse is a kitchen appliance that is a household biogas energy generator. It takes in the family kitchen waste and converts it to electrical energy and a liquid fertilizer through the process of fermentation. While the electric energy can be used to power small kitchen appliances, the fertilizer can be used for houseplants. Superb!
