The future of kitchens lies in how tech savvy and “Smart” they are going to be. Vestel Assist is a good indication how technology and electronic devices are becoming a necessary aid. This project includes smart kitchen systems and appliances connected with each other in such a way that communicate with one another and can be customized.

The Equate is a vacuum cleaner for table crumbs and has been designed with the purpose of celebrating its form rather than hiding it. Most often we tend to find a cozy nook for such appliances, but designer Rich Park feels that we need to set this artistic work on a proud pedestal. It’s one of the rare examples where form, function and art are fine-tuned. Essentially, a very conceptual aerodynamic vacuum sits on a chrome cone-shaped charger.

The TopBrewer revolutionizes the idea of coffee brewing and dispensing by completely turning it upside down. This premium professional bean-to-cup beverage system design features a patented swan neck ‘faucet’ and can be built into any counter surface.

I was in for a rude shock when I realized that my hotel in Milan did not provide for an electric kettle in my room. This is a given standard, however sometime we need to carry our kettles with us. For such situations (yes, I am picky about making my own coffee) the Novel is apt; it is a patented folding travel kettle, which is unique, thanks to its simple design.

No, it’s not a missile, but this sleek hand-held blender will totally pulverize anything in its path! A great alternative to your average bulky countertop blender, the compact design saves space but packs just as powerful of a punch. The multipurpose blade is ideal for chopping, crushing, or purée in both shallow and deep containers, and with its protective guard it’s safe to use on glass, plastic or any other common material type.

The Toaster & Knife is the combination of a toaster and Double bladed ‘Y shaped’ knife that have a definitive purpose. The bent shape of the toaster creates an iconic V shape toast and the Y shaped knife, solves the “double dipping” problem. Yes, one blade for the butter and the other for the jam! The center of the toast breaks easily into a sandwich, making your breakfast routine crispier!

The Whirlpool Fireplace cooking experience combines the tradition of gathering around the fire with modern tech. The story is built on the concept of cooking with light, where different frequencies of light are used to either create a warm atmosphere or to cook different types of food. The central basin is filled with light pins for cooking & an intelligent interactive table surface that keeps food/drinks hot or cold. The intuitive interface with gestural controls adds to the overall sensorial experience.

Fresh Connect uses new technologies with the aim of saving resources while trying to keep food fresh. The concept employs an entirely new approach to food conservation through a series of specialized accessories connected by a central cooling system with an online delivery service. The setup consists of a Central Cooling System teamed with accessories like Fruit Basket, Bread Basket, Wine Cooler, Herbarium, Cool Boxes along with Ordering system + Delivery Bags.

The Trea is a compact alcohol powered stove that is ready for the go. Ideal for the urban outdoors, this stylish 3-logs-fire-inspired appliance adds a touch of glam to your romantic evening. Crafted from poles of stainless steel and processed with Milling router, milling cutter filled with soaking material and stainless steel wire net, the stove is foldable and compact and definitely not clumsy!

Chef Brown is an adorable chef sitting on your kitchen counter. Hooked up to the Internet, the chef is a hub that searches for recipes from both pre-installed data and the web. The interactive device is good to the beginners and children and keeps track on the steps and timings indicated in the recipe. If you need it to narrate the recipe instead, it will do that too. How accommodating!

The MiMix is a portable blender inspired by the bamboo form. I love it for its sleek and practical approach of portability. I mean, if you are going to go camping and then cook out there, you may as well add this pint-sized wonder to take care of blending the ingredients to make the perfect tandoori marinade. Easy to charge, just MIMIX your way to great food!

Watering is an innovative water purifier intended for singles. It can be wall mounted and features a blue leaf that indicates the number of glasses you have consumed during the day. It is recommended that we consume at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, so with each rotation, the blue leaf keeps a track of the number glasses consumed. You can customize the temperature and other features to suit your needs. I like it more for the fact that it integrates so well as a funky wall art décor!

When it comes to espresso, it’s kinda funny to think think that such a tiny cup of java requires such a large machine. Really? All that bulk for a couple of ounces?! This modern espresso design reexamines the common appliance by giving it slimmer, more compact dimensions. It saves tons of counter space and looks stylish enough that you won’t mind leaving it out.
