Manly Modern Timepiece

Manly Modern Timepiece

I like my watches like I like my lovers- on time and looking good! Seriously though, I prefer a sleek, minimal yet masculine design that will achieve those two simple things. The Lepidus collection is for the purist who knows what they want. In carbon, steel and platinum finishes, this is a modern man’s watch through and through. Just look at this hunk wearing it!

Atypical Time Telling

Atypical Time Telling

Almost unrecognizable as a watch, the Round-the-Clock bracelet communicates the time with hour and minute rings that rotate around the user’s wrist. Made of stainless steel, plastic and rubber, this exceptional timepiece is modern and elegant with a touch of masculinity that an equally unusual wearer will appreciate.

Hanging Hangers

Hanging Hangers

Gotta love this clever design by designer Jo Jae-Min. From afar the Dual Hanger looks like a stylish yet fairly standard coat rack, but take a closer look and you’ll notice that its removable “hooks” actually double as coat hangers!

Ironing with a Twist

Ironing with a Twist

The 360 Iron is the result of an exploration into the evolution of the common iron and a representation of key improvements made to an appliance that has otherwise experienced minimal change over the years. The design revolves around a flexible, ergonomic joint that transfers twisting of the wrist to the iron itself thereby reducing hand-strain. A touch-screen display replaces complex dials and buttons adding to its intuitiveness and overall easy of use.

Funky Shoe Style

Funky Shoe Style

As the name suggests Topless Shoes have no upper constrictions or bindings. It’s like sinking your foot into a warm cushy hole and expecting it to ‘walk’ with you at every step. The elastic layer called ‘muscle’ parts under the foot and encloses it in a firm yet comfortable grip. Ideal for folks who find wearing shoes a huge task, and I’d sure like to give them a try.

Minimalist Nano Wristband

Minimalist Nano Wristband

Though there are hundreds of iPod Nano watch band designs on the market now, few are as minimal and simple as Curve Creative’s NANOLET. The lightweight, flexible band is 3D printed as one single component that simply wraps around your wrist for a quick and easy way to carry your Nano. Perfect for users on the run! Own it here.

Smarty iPad Cover

Smarty iPad Cover

As a proud iPad owner, I am disappointed to say I have yet to find a cover that I really love. I’m a purist at heart (and maybe even a little picky), so I like to hold the bare iPad & feel the aluminum back & overall thinness. The Smart Stand Sleeve is probably the closest thing I’ll find to what I want. It uses an ingenious folding technique & magnets to transform the case from a soft, protecting sleeve  (that isn’t bound to the iPad) into an angled stand for working or watching videos.

Sounds Good to Me

Sounds Good to Me

SoundsGood is a hearing aid for women specifically designed to look like a classy earring. The device works in a very interesting way; depending upon the voice pitch of the speaker the earring displays graphic sound waves in colored signals. Different colors intuitively indicate if you are speaking too shrill, soft or appropriately for the user. I love the way technology is woven into an everyday object, so that the lady using the device is comfortable wearing the aid.

A Hanger Fit for James Bond

A Hanger Fit for James Bond

I love a design that makes you go “why didn’t I think of that?!” … and this is certainly one of them. The Pliable Coat Hanger (which is small enough to fit in your pocket) expands from a mere 7 cm to 40 in just one easy motion. Super-compact and made of durable, lightweight aluminum, it’s the first truly travel-friendly hanger I’ve seen!

A Tribute to the Italian Bull

A Tribute to the Italian Bull

Automotive enthusiast Marko Petrovic’s unusual timepiece takes inspiration from and follows the design language of Lamborghini’s ultramodern hypercar, the Aventador. The Avenger watch transfers the same ultramodern aesthetic, signature black and orange of the Aventador, and complex engineering into a vertical tourbillion presented much in the same way as the car’s engine and transparent cover. It’s loud… real loud.

Black Diamond Watch

Black Diamond Watch

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend but this watch is definitely a man’s. What’s hot: a raised glass pyramid face, subtle harlequin pattern detail on the strap, and an über-cool dot matrix display. What’s not: Grrr!! Only that this concept isn’t for sale!
