The sun and moon inside a lamp

Light tables aren’t just for architects and animators. A light table can be used virtually by anyone to add a different dimension to their room lighting. Where most room lights are wall or ceiling mounted with usually a point source casting light downwards, the Monai is a diffused surface light that throws a warm glow upwards.

The light inside Monai isn’t just some ordinary light. Monai boasts of illumination that matches daylight. Known to be healthier for our eyesight than artificial lighting, the Monai also comes with an ability to dim its lights at night, therefore mimicking the sun and moon. This has proven to boost our attention during daytime and to induce a state of relaxation after sundown. The light table can also be detached from its legs and kept at your bedside, or even wall mounted. Those are some seriously impressive claims from something that’s essentially a lamp. Let’s hope the rest of the lighting industry follows suit!
