Fine Lines

impossible_01

There’s a fine line between artistry and insanity. One look at the In:possible chair and you’ll understand what I mean. From one perspective, it shouldn’t be anywhere you might even considering sitting… yet it’s perfectly stable. Its design is informed by the polarizing idea of seeing things that will never work under the usual governing of physics and practicality. With this illusion, the chair becomes unique, breaking the preconceived notion of stability and redefined the topology of a chair. Minimal and yet full of character, stark yet playful, clever and serious – it’s more than a chair… it’s an object to ponder.
