Age-old craft meets familiar fragment in this sculptural furniture edition influenced by the traditional art of paper folding. Titled Origami 9010, the series is part of the Serein brand’s sustainable design project “DACHWOOD” inspired by the architecture and history of Berlin’s “altbau.” The fully handcrafted limited edition of 50 originates from the artist’s study of using clear cuts to achieve folds applied to the reclaimed altbau doors as sheets of paper.
