For The Love Of Drumming
Ever caught yourself doing the air-drums in the middle of a song? Van Halen and WWRY get me to do that all the time. Well, the option of using a portable instrument like the Y-Drum is a good one, especially when it works out good for beginners. It is a mobile, accessible and easy to use; making the percussion practice even more fun.
As Kévin explains, “Everyone can build and customize his own set with the pads. All the system is synchronized via Bluetooth. So just set up or choose a drum set with the Roland’s application installed on the smartphone, the tablet or the computer and start to play!”

Great but without ergonomic considerations!
This is a great concept except that it will not work without having the pads on pedestals. The reason is that you cannot reasonably drum on a desk or table with sticks as the surface is too high and your shoulders would hurt too much after one session. Lower the surface and your would need to be farther back because your feet cannot get under the surface (knee in the way). You would need longer drum sticks. and that is one reason you always drum at the knee for the greater part as any higher would cause physiological problems long term.
I like it though. Now put them on a tiny pedestals array that folds around and held down by your stool.
