It’s simple, really. I have never bothered to spoil myself with high-end or fancy eye wear. That means it is long past due for me to do a little something special for myself, and winning that little something would make it the best big something ever.

When I was young I used to need glasses and hated them. Back then they were hideous and utility based. Glasses now are much better designed and form is as important if not more than function.

I need these because I am an English major, and I have fallen for a shy math genius. He can count in hexidecimal, while I don’t even know what that is. He has a really nice calculator, and he is really good at fixing my computer (which seems to break down quite a bit). I’ve tried every ploy possible to break the ice but all to no avail. He checks me out, but he has yet to ask me out. So as you can see, I really need these glasses. With the math symbols, I think it will finally give him an easy conversation starter. So just do it. Do it for forlorn lovers everywhere. Do it for good romantic karma. Do it because you like puppies. I don’t care. What ever the reason, just do it for the love of God so I can finally *&^%$@ his brains out.
