The Intuitive Extinguisher
The Easy Trigger hopes to make your experience with a fire extinguisher less frightful and more intuitive. The thing is, different people have different ways to react during emergencies. Some are calm and collected and will follow instructions and pull out the pin correctly from the conventional extinguishers. Others may panic and fumble. In order to ensure smooth operations, the Easy Trigger was designed.
Intuitive and easy to use, this project is a 2012 iF Design Talents entry.

It seems like this would be easier to figure out in a dire situation. Great design.

The idea for the mechanism is great, but the shape of it is absolutely awful.
Also this thing doesn’t stand out so much. The point of it being red is that it stands out.

Good luck pressurizing that container. There is a reason fire extinguishers are cylindrical.
