In my house I see this lasting approximately 35 seconds before being destroyed in a freak high speed collision with a stationary wall.

omg, really? i dont even get a leg out of my bed til i turn off the hundreds of alarms that i turned on befor i go to sleep.

I wake up before the sun comes up, and even when I don’t on weekends, my shutters are closed. So it would either need a really good camera with stellar low light performance or require me to turn on the lights before I shut off the alarm. At that point I probably wouldn’t want to smile if it kills me.

Being forced by my alarm to smile isn’t positive. It’s forcing me to do something I may not feel like doing which wont make me happy.

There should definitely be an iPhone app of this. I know a few people who would benefit from it…

Total crap. Why don’t you invent such an alarm clock that you have to smile at all the time otherwise it will blow up a whole house. Everybody would be so happy and joyful.

Not to be too much of a downer but I have heard from a few articles that faking smiles can make you feel even worse.
