The Apple Arrow
The Feccia Mela wall-suspended dish by designers Andrea Maffezzoni and Nicola Loi makes for a great decorative way to put your fruit on display. Made of corian or aluminum this playful design has a humorous quaity and is sure to be a conversation starter. Kinda reminds me of William Tell!

Would’ve been great if the arches below the fruits we’re made of transparent acrylic or something so the arrow looks to go through the fruit, instead of arching around it.
I’d liked it even more if it was something to put on the table. With the white arrow standing on transparent legs and with transparent circles to put your fruit in. More like a fruitbowl. Would’ve been more functional.
A lot of hate on this site, man really. Why can’t stuff just be fun? Just enjoy the creativity, instead of only looking for function.

The design is made of things useful and useless things, but that will snatch a smile. but I also see a hint of envy … do you remember the legend of the egg of Columbus? However behind this project there is a serious study of food has established that children are encouraged to eat more fruit if they are proposed in an unusual way. do not talk just to talk … if not, why not explain why the iPhone has sold millions of phones … already worked well in 2000 to call! It got a smile out of me and it’s a clever way to display one’s appreciation of fruit. I’m fond of the curvature of the Corian(r) material. Thanks for sharing, Christine from DuPont.
