    Am not ssure i understand the concept is this apparatus to provide what water in the lab for use?? You mean the distilled deionised water used for reactions or simply just plain tap water if the later why the need of such an equipment. If th first how does it work so that it becomes 70% more efficient

      Ultrapure water (or Type 1 water) is of a much higher quality than deionised water (Type 3). It is sometimes called polished water and is used for science that requires high levels of purity. In order to achieve ultrapure quality, lots of filtration processes are required, making current systems much larger and generally in a fixed location within the lab.
