Ironing with Ceramic
The precepts of ironing hasn’t changed much. Take a hot flat surface and apply it to textiles to relax the fibers. Sometimes you use steam to crease and set them but if you step back, there’s still room for improvement. The “Easy Ironing” concept lets you define how much ironing you want to do and in turns tells you how much water to use; no waste. It also uses a ceramic glass panel which has superior thermal stability and makes it easier to clean. One of the top 25 finalists in this year’s Philips Award.

That's a very modern and practical design.

I have seen the same shape exectly almost 2 years ago….for a katle …not nice to take another person design and use it on a different concept…at least put the logo in a diffrent position…

Ocupop Creative Director Michael Nieling….Some sketches and a couple of other ideas considered…This is a great strategy by the W3C giving the organization a visual tool that the developer and design community can rally around and be proud to show off a much needed boost since most of the W3C visual palette is drab.

im a design student myself, i dont know if its plagiarism or not, it could have been developed independently…
i feel for the designer bcoz, i myself was sort of heart broken to see a concept independently developed by me as an entrant for a design comp once they shortlisted…
so need to think even sharper n faster it seems, such a competitive world ..
